We used mirrors for the backsplash and on the upper cabinets. And, of course, no beverage center is complete with a wine refrigerator! Sleek and contemporary, this beautiful home is located in Villanova, PA. Blue, white and gold are the palette of this transitional design. In this full service residential remodel project, we left no stone, or room, unturned. We created a beautiful open concept living/dining/kitchen by removing a structural wall and existing fireplace. This home features a breathtaking three sided fireplace that becomes the focal point when entering the home. It creates division with transparency between the living room and the cigar room that we added. Our clients wanted a home that reflected their vision and a space to hold the memories of their growing family. We transformed a contemporary space into our clients dream of a transitional, open concept home.

New white Dura Supreme Highland Panel Plus cabinets were topped with beautiful Calacatta Laza Quartz – with its dramatic movement, milky white background, and soft brown veining. The clients chose a traditional clear mirror backsplash in lieu of tile that matched the dry bar and selected stunning Duverre cabinet hardware in satin nickel, which provided a silvery muted finish and coordinated well with the white cabinets.

This wine bar/coffee bar will accommodate any occasion, day or night.

This home's renovation included a new kitchen. Some features are custom cabinetry, a new appliance package, a dry bar, and a custom built-in table. This project also included a dry bar.

Our Tampa studio designed this beautiful riverside home to evoke the calm and open charm of the river. We gave a soothing palette and added soft and cozy furnishings to create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Similarly to the kitchen, we decided to anchor both sides of the built-ins with floor-to-ceiling towers. The clean lines of the cabinetry and sleekness of the open shelves are balanced out by a decorative arch in the center that gives the built-ins the classic touch our client was drawn to. We completed the built-in design with sleek glass shelving to display decorative barware and accessories.

Right off of the kitchen, DGI designed custom built-ins for our client’s “must-have” wine bar. We opted to carry over the same walnut finish and shaker profile seen at the kitchen island to help it feel as if it is an extension of the kitchen. We really wanted to celebrate the views outside of the floor-to-ceiling windows beside the built-ins, so we opted to install an antique glass backsplash in the center. It helps to bounce even more light around the space, as well as extend the views of Lake Michigan and the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel even further.

The sophisticated wine library adjacent to the kitchen provides a cozy spot for friends and family to gather to share a glass of wine or to catch up on a good book. The striking dark blue cabinets showcase both open and closed storage cabinets and also a tall wine refrigerator that stores over 150 bottles of wine. The quartz countertop provides a durable bar top for entertaining, while built in electrical outlets provide the perfect spot to plug in a blender. Comfortable swivel chairs and a small marble cocktail table creates an intimate seating arrangement for visiting with guests or for unwinding with a good book. The 11' ceiling height and the large picture window add a bit of drama to the space, while an elegant sisal rug keeps the room from being too formal.
