The larder cabinet on the left is designed as a beverage center with apothecary drawers designed for housing beverage stir sticks, sugar packets, creamers, and other misc. coffee and home bar supplies. A wine glass rack and shelves provides optimal storage for a full collection of glassware while a power supply in the back helps power coffee & espresso (machines, blenders, grinders and other small appliances that could be used for daily beverage creations. The roll-out shelf makes it easier to fill clean and operate each appliance while also making it easy to put away. Pocket doors tuck out of the way and into the cabinet so you can easily leave open for your household or guests to access, but easily shut the cabinet doors and conceal when you’re ready to tidy up. Adding architecture to a new build home was important. Beadboard and batten ceiling, recycled bakery pendant lights, and the mix of green and wood cabinets keep this space relaxed and feeling informal.

A British client requested an 'unfitted' look. Robinson Interiors was called in to help create a space that appeared built up over time, with vintage elements. For this kitchen reclaimed wood was used along with three distinctly different cabinet finishes (Stained Wood, Ivory, and Vintage Green), multiple hardware styles (Black, Bronze and Pewter) and two different backsplash tiles. We even used some freestanding furniture (A vintage French armoire) to give it that European cottage feel. A fantastic 'SubZero 48' Refrigerator, a British Racing Green Aga stove, the super cool Waterstone faucet with farmhouse sink all hep create a quirky, fun, and eclectic space! We also included a few distinctive architectural elements, like the Oculus Window Seat (part of a bump-out addition at one end of the space) and an awesome bronze compass inlaid into the newly installed hardwood floors. This bronze plaque marks a pivotal crosswalk central to the home's floor plan. Finally, the wonderful purple and green color scheme is super fun and definitely makes this kitchen feel like springtime all year round! Masterful use of Pantone's Color of the year, Ultra Violet, keeps this traditional cottage kitchen feeling fresh and updated.

This home was built in 1947 and the client wanted the style of the kitchen to reflect the same vintage. We installed wood floors to match the existing floors throughout the rest of the home. The tile counter tops reflect the era as well as the painted cabinets with shaker doors.

We are excited to share our latest project a Modern Farmhouse. Our client loves East Coast style this was fun to create with the best bones we had to just select phenomenal materials to make this space look fantastic! Center stage is this great window with a view of a backyard oasis. The cabinetry is special and unique with doors that you can’t find everywhere. Take a close look at the details!! We blocked out the corner of the kitchen where the subzero refrigerator freezer is located to create a space for the pullout pantries that are located on each side of the ref/freezer. It is a design element but I prefer to cover the dishwasher to have an uninterrupted are that makes the sink a focal point. This kitchen sink is a native trails concrete farm sink which pairs perfectly with the caesarstone rugged concrete countertop. Custom made hood with charred wood that is the perfect accent to a subway tile that has rustic elements. In the center is a 36" wolf range, off to the left finishing out this kitchen is a steam unit. This home was transformed from “80’s Contemporary” to “Farmhouse Modern” and the clients love it! Wood, stone, and a soaring, barn-like interior space are combined with clean, modern lines. By using a stark, neutral color palette, we created a gallery-like background to allow the accent elements to become stars. The stone fireplace, Douglas Fir rafter ties, pops of red in the kitchen, steel stair railing, and the homeowners’ art and collectibles stand out beautifully in this space. Removing the old central staircase freed up floor space to allow for the dramatic expression of the kitchen. The new stairway provides access to the front entry and both levels of the home. We even included extra floor space between the two main work areas in the kitchen to accommodate Tess, the German Shepherd who likes to lay in the kitchen while her “parents” are cooking!
