With two large dogs at home, our clients requested a custom cabinet for housing food and water bowls for their dogs. The spacious lower drawer makes a great kibble storage container. The upper drawer pulls out revealing two stainless steel bowls that fit into the cabinet, making feeding time easy and mess free. The top drawers are fully functional and can be used as extra kitchen storage space.

This Transitional Farmhouse Kitchen was completely remodeled and the home is nestled on the border of Pasadena and South Pasadena. Our goal was to keep the original charm of our client’s home while updating the kitchen in a way that was fresh and current. Our design inspiration began with a deep green soapstone counter top paired with creamy white cabinetry. Carrera marble subway tile for the backsplash is a luxurious splurge and adds classic elegance to the space. The stainless steel appliances and sink create a more transitional feel, while the shaker style cabinetry doors and schoolhouse light fixture are in keeping with the original style of the home. Tile flooring resembling concrete is clean and simple and seeded glass in the upper cabinet doors help make the space feel open and light. This kitchen has a hidden microwave and custom range hood design, as well as a new pantry area, for added storage. The pantry area features an appliance garage and deep-set counter top for multi-purpose use. These features add value to this small space. The finishing touches are polished nickel cabinet hardware, which add a vintage look and the cafe curtains are the handiwork of the homeowner. Sustainable Kitchens - A Traditional Country Kitchen. 17th Century Grade II listed barn conversion with oak worktops and cabinets painted in Farrow & Ball Tallow. The cabinets have traditional beading and mouldings. The 300 year old exposed bricks and farmhouse sink help maintain the traditional style. There is an oven tower and American style fridge and freezer combination with a larder on either side. The beams are original.

Because of the gorgeous variation of our Patina glaze, you can use just this one color and end up with a backsplash that is just as interesting as if you used 5 colors. Using a classic subway tile shape, but not as conventional 4"x8" size, these homeowners used our Patina Subway Tile all over their kitchen.
