Transform-A-Space is a family owned and operated business which was first established in 2015. We have the privilege of completing amazing transformations in people’s homes all around Adelaide and beyond, making spaces more functional and stylish. Our director, Luke, has over 15 years of experience in the industry and prides himself on his keen eye for detail and client-centric approach. Prior to undertaking his apprenticeship, Luke studied furniture making at TAFE SA and also competed in an international furniture making competition, placing 6th in Australia. These undertakings sparked his passion for creating beautiful works. Luke has been involved in Transform-A-Space's projects since 2021, working closely with its founders and previous directors, Joel and Alison. We engaged Transform-A-Space to do some modifications and additions to our kitchen after being recommended by SpaceCraft here in Strathalbyn. While the job itself only took a few days, Joel was able to match up our existing door profiles making the modifications look as though they were part of original install! Maureen loves the addition of the internal drawers in the cupboards! Joel went above and beyond any expectations and was the tidiest, most polite tradie we have ever experienced. Alison and Joel were very helpful from the first consultation until our kitchen and pantry was completed. We managed to blend our ideas with suggestions from Alison and Joel to make a very functional kitchen. The new design provides a much better flow than our 1980s kitchen. The 3D renders from Krista made it easy to visualise the layout, design and colours as well as decide on some minor alterations. The end result was just what we were expecting. Alison assisted with product selection from a range of high-quality options. This includes a bank of four very large appliance drawers keeping our benchtops clutter free, with overhead cupboards to the ceiling, maximising storage. Joel provides excellent attention to detail which is demonstrated in the finished kitchen. We absolutely love our new kitchen. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone considering renovations or a new kitchen. Sue and Greg

We had a bookshelf and a mudroom designed and built by Transform-A-Space. From the outset they were highly professional and responsive to our needs. Their process is more of a partnership and they help you create exactly what you want. The build itself was exceptional. Amazing finishes and great attention to detail. We'll be using Transform-A-Space again and would highly recommend them.

Transform-a-space completed a beautiful renovation of our kitchen and laundry. In the planning phase, Alison and Krista listened to and built on our initial ideas to deliver a design that was unique and tailored to our needs. The care and attention they showed was above and beyond expectation. Joel’s knowledge, skill and attention to detail during installation was excellent. He is a master in his craft, the end result speaks for itself. Allison and Joel’s passion and commitment to their business shines through. They were a pleasure to work with and welcome into our home during the renovation period.

I cannot speak more highly of my appreciation of Joel and Ali and what Transform-a-Space has been able to deliver for me. Initially, I came to them after months of looking for a bedhead/bedside tables in every bricks and mortar and online store I could find. Filled with frustration and starting to believe I would have to “settle” for some bedhead I didn’t want – I stumbled across the Transform-a-Space website. And now, voila, I have a totally bespoke and very individual bedhead and bed-end. I was so excited by what I saw on the website, and I thought I might talk to them about the office! A few weeks later, I am now working happily in totally transformed home office! It has exceeded all of my expectations of what was possible. I need a far more exaggerated phrase than 'highly recommend', because it doesn't cut it for this husband and wife team from Transform-A-Space. They are all you'd ever need when it comes to service, quality and the very best workman/womanship going around! Joel and Ali oversaw cabinetry across our renovation which included laundry, 2 bedrooms, kitchen island, dining and lounge room. They are genuine, hard working people who are lovely to deal with. They were able to work to the renovation plans which we had contracted a seperate interior designer to undertake and made reasonable suggestions to any small changes they thought could enhance the project. Together both Ali and Joel kept this crazed wife/Mum sane as she moved her family of 5, plus a dog and cat out of the house (and in with her parents) in the month of December whilst renovations took place...that is small feat. Hats off to you both and thank you!

Joel was recommended to us locally and we soon found out he was very punctual for quoting and undertaking the refurbishment of our kitchen. The work was done and completed exactly when he said it would be and all to a very high standard - could not fault anything. 18 months later and have had no troubles whatsoever. Highly recommended. Sorry no photos available.
