Site built shaker style kitchen cabinets in knotty alder. Countertops are leathered toblerone granite. Range and dishwasher are kitchenaid. Microwave and trim kit are Sharp. Wine cooler by Whirlpool. The client wanted a kitchen that created a warm and cozy feeling where family and friends would feel right at home. She sought a kitchen that was of the highest quality cabinetry and a designer that would really listen to her needs and wants. The Pewter glaze overtones on the cherry wood tie in with the distressed gray island; the Silestone Quartz Soapstone around the perimeter provides a neutral background, while the island has a more dramatic polished granite with cream, rose and brown tones to become a beautiful centerpiece. The cabinets are heavily detailed with beaded sides and backs, inset doors, chamfered corners wherever possible, toe valances and applied mouldings around the entire base to add a rich, handcrafted look. The heights of the cabinets vary to reduce uniformity, adding to the casual charm. An apron front sink also contributes to the country look. The desk is particularly fanciful with it’s mullion doors, French Country open shelves with beaded sides and back, curved and beaded valance and drawer with multiple drawerheads / applied molding. We also incorporated doors that come all the way to the counter to hide the usual home office clutter. The lower part of the desk includes many drawers of various sizes and even a special locking file drawer. The beautiful dark gray island boasts French Country open shelves with arched and beaded valances, a fluting detail on each corner of the cookbook shelves, toe details, lots of beadboard, and a variety of storage options for cooking utensils, pans, and serving dishes.

Mrs. Deighan loved to cook, but hated her kitchen. It was nonfunctional, inefficient, and an eyesore. The sink was in the corner under low cabinets. The awkwardly placed fridge made it impractical for the entire family to be working together. And that was a big deal. She wanted a beautiful place to cook and entertain. Besides the cramped space, the old, brown plywood cabinets were falling apart. Because the cabinets were low, under-cabinet lighting was useless. The kitchen was dark. The previous owners had updated the flooring, but only by putting uglier tiles over the old vinyl. And the ceiling had a leak stain. It was time for a big change. The Deighan's called Amos from ALL Renovation & Design. Amos’s many successful remodeling projects done for them over the years had forged a friendship that made him the obvious contractor of choice. Amos sat down with them and asked them to make a dream kitchen list. If budget were of no concern, what would the space look like? Once the Deighan's had their list, Amos helped them to evaluate each investment, taking into consideration the age and value of the home. Then Amos presented a plan that fit perfectly in the Deighan's budget. The basic U-shaped kitchen layout stayed the same. Modern, creamy white custom cabinets replaced the dark plywood cabinets. The fridge moved to make space for more cabinets. The biggest challenge was moving the laundry room wall a few feet. Moving it was necessary to add more space, but, since the wall was load-bearing, moving it required extra attention. It was worth it. Extra space allowed the counter to extend and the sink to move. After the hard work ended, the reason for the transformation became reality. Now “we can have the whole family in there comfortably and working together,” Mrs. Deighan said. She loves her kitchen. Especially the windowed cabinets that show off her fiestaware. And when you see the beautiful St. Cecilia granite countertops, with Milstone Sari porcelain mosaic tile backsplash, maple flat-panel cabinets with under-cabinet lighting, and all new appliances including a double oven, you will see why she does.

This modern farmhouse kitchen features white cabinets with java glaze. The granite countertops in Venetian Gold are paired with a custom backsplash done with 3"x6" subway tile with a honed finish in Durango. Wood flooring and oil rubbed bronze faucets and pulls complete the kitchen.

This farmhouse kitchen was entirely custom. Each cabinet was designed to suit the clients needs exactly, from a lower pensinsula for breadmaking, to flour bin drawers, to making everything fit in a tight space. Only the base cabinets were replaced and the upper cabinets are the original farmhouse cabinets. A rolling cart was made for extra space.

Keeping within the same blueprint, the kitchen was completely remodeled to allow for a better flow of the kitchen, clean lines and more lighting. The kitchen includes Kraftmaid Grandview Full Overlay Cabinets in a Canvas Finish with Typhoon Bordeaux Granite Top. The cabinet knobs and pulls are from Liberty Mila in Satin Nickel. The sink faucet is a Delta Essa Single Handle Pull Down kitchen faucet in Artic Stainless and an Elkay Crosstown stainless steel undermount rectangular sink. The stainless steel appliances are GE Profile. Recessed ceiling lights, under the cabinet and inside cabinet lighting (Kichler) and Hinkley LED Pendant Lights over the island gives lots of lighting. All the Hardwood is Red Oak

In this kitchen we added hardware to the cabinets, a subway tile backslash, and decorated on top of the cabinets.
