This bright and beautiful modern farmhouse kitchen incorporates a beautiful custom made wood hood with white upper cabinets and a dramatic black base cabinet from Kraftmaid.

The showstopper kitchen is punctuated by the blue skies and green rolling hills of this Omaha home's exterior landscape. The crisp black and white kitchen features a vaulted ceiling with wood ceiling beams, large modern black windows, wood look tile floors, Wolf Subzero appliances, a large kitchen island with seating for six, an expansive dining area with floor to ceiling windows, black and gold island pendants, quartz countertops and a marble tile backsplash. A scullery located behind the kitchen features ample pantry storage, a prep sink, a built-in coffee bar and stunning black and white marble floor tile.

Our clients wanted the ultimate modern farmhouse custom dream home. They found property in the Santa Rosa Valley with an existing house on 3 ½ acres. They could envision a new home with a pool, a barn, and a place to raise horses. JRP and the clients went all in, sparing no expense. Thus, the old house was demolished and the couple’s dream home began to come to fruition. The result is a simple, contemporary layout with ample light thanks to the open floor plan. When it comes to a modern farmhouse aesthetic, it’s all about neutral hues, wood accents, and furniture with clean lines. Every room is thoughtfully crafted with its own personality. Yet still reflects a bit of that farmhouse charm. Their considerable-sized kitchen is a union of rustic warmth and industrial simplicity. The all-white shaker cabinetry and subway backsplash light up the room. All white everything complimented by warm wood flooring and matte black fixtures. The stunning custom Raw Urth reclaimed steel hood is also a star focal point in this gorgeous space. Not to mention the wet bar area with its unique open shelves above not one, but two integrated wine chillers. It’s also thoughtfully positioned next to the large pantry with a farmhouse style staple: a sliding barn door. The master bathroom is relaxation at its finest. Monochromatic colors and a pop of pattern on the floor lend a fashionable look to this private retreat. Matte black finishes stand out against a stark white backsplash, complement charcoal veins in the marble looking countertop, and is cohesive with the entire look. This project was a full-home remodel that updated the outdated kitchen into a modern farmhouse style space with a large opening created by AG Millworks Multislide Doors

The house is sited in the tree line at the edge of a rocky outcrop, and responds to sweeping eastern views of the valley below. The family cooks, eats, and hangs out together in a space with amazing eastern sunlight and a strong connection to the trees outside and the Piedmont landscape in the distance. A "personal touch" was high on the clients' wish-list—interiors of warm wood tones are accompanied by owner-crafted items, stained glass, cabinetry, railings and works of art. This humble sensibility is carried through on the exterior with simple board and batten siding, whitewash, and a rambling series of forms inspired by central Virginia agricultural architecture.

By removing some brick and replacing cabinetry, this older home received a huge upgrade and brightened up the living space. A compact, well organized kitchen provides ample room to display fun collectibles as well as lots of prep room and storage.

This all white Farmhouse Kitchen is STUNNING! For our repeat clients, we have removed all of the old cabinetry, changed the island to a single level, added new white shaker style cabinetry, hood, farm sink, white quartz countertops, white 3x6 waved subway tiles backsplash, and all of the gorgeous fixtures and lighting! We also added the full wall of shiplap in the living room.
