Florence a conceptualisé la cuisine avec deux plans de travail dont un îlot XXL qui dissimule de grands tiroirs de rangement, ainsi qu’une table de cuisson. Attenant à la cuisine, un escalier..Voici une pièce à vivre en deux parties. La cuisine (Record è Cucine), réalisée en Fenix (panneau en stratifié) et bois brut, se distingue de la salle à manger par un jeu de couleurs en clair-obscur, inspiré par la végétation environnante. La décoration éclectique associe d’anciennes lampes à pétrole provenant d’un paquebot indien à des créations actuelles. Plan de travail en granit du Zimbabwe et en acier brossé sur l’îlot central. Peinture « Inchyra Blue » (vert foncé) et « Cinder Rose » (rose clair), Farrow & Ball. Robinetterie, Hansgrohe. Serviettes de table, Society Limonta. Rideau, Élitis. Torchons, Harmony. Living Room: Our customer wanted to update the family room and the kitchen of this 1970's splanch. By painting the brick wall white and adding custom built-ins we brightened up the space. The decor reflects our client's love for color and a bit of asian style elements. We also made sure that the sitting was not only beautiful, but very comfortable and durable. The sofa and the accent chairs sit very comfortably and we used the performance fabrics to make sure they last through the years. We also wanted to highlight the art collection which the owner curated through the years. Kithen: We enlarged the kitchen by removing a partition wall that divided it from the dining room and relocated the entrance. Our goal was to create a warm and inviting kitchen, therefore we selected a mellow, neutral palette. The cabinets are soft Irish Cream as opposed to a bright white. The mosaic backsplash makes a statement, but remains subtle through its beige tones. We selected polished brass for the hardware, as well as brass and warm metals for the light fixtures which emit a warm and cozy glow. For beauty and practicality, we used quartz for the working surface countertops and for the island we chose a sophisticated leather finish marble with strong movement and gold inflections. Because of our client’s love for Asian influences, we selected upholstery fabric with an image of a dragon, chrysanthemums to mimic Japanese textiles, and red accents scattered throughout. Un superbe salon/salle à manger aux teintes exotiques et chaudes ! Un bleu-vert très franc pour ce mur, une couleur peu commune. Le canapé orange, là encore très original, est paré et entouré de mobilier en tissu wax aux motifs hypnotisant. Le tout répond à un coin dînatoire en partie haute pour 6 personnes. Le tout en bois et métal, assorti aux suspensions et à la verrière, pour rajouter un look industriel à l'ensemble. Above a newly constructed triple garage, we created a multifunctional space for a family that likes to entertain, but also spend time together watching movies, sports and playing pool. Having worked with our clients before on a previous project, they gave us free rein to create something they couldn’t have thought of themselves. We planned the space to feel as open as possible, whilst still having individual areas with their own identity and purpose. As this space was going to be predominantly used for entertaining in the evening or for movie watching, we made the room dark and enveloping using Farrow and Ball Studio Green in dead flat finish, wonderful for absorbing light. We then set about creating a lighting plan that offers multiple options for both ambience and practicality, so no matter what the occasion there was a lighting setting to suit. The bar, banquette seat and sofa were all bespoke, specifically designed for this space, which allowed us to have the exact size and cover we wanted. We also designed a restroom and shower room, so that in the future should this space become a guest suite, it already has everything you need. ​ Given that this space was completed just before Christmas, we feel sure it would have been thoroughly enjoyed for entertaining.

Recently Renovated Kitchen, here is what Cori has to say about that process...Initially, I had to have the "upgrade" of thermafoil cabinets, but that was 25 years ago...it was time to bring my trendy kitchen space up to my current design standards! Ann Sachs.... Kelly Wearstler tile were the inspiration for the entire space. Eliminating walls between cabinetry, appliances, and a desk no longer necessary, were just the beginning. Adding a warm morel wood tone to these new cabinets and integrating a wine/coffee station were just some of the updates. I decided to keep the "White Kitchen" on the north side and add the same warm wood tone to the hood. A fresh version of the traditional farmhouse sink, Grohe faucet and Rio Blanc Quartzite were all part of the design. To keep the space open I added floating shelves both on the north side of the white kitchen and again above the wine refrigerator. A great spot in incorporate my love of artwork and travel! Le projet : Un appartement familial de 135m2 des années 80 sans style ni charme, avec une petite cuisine isolée et désuète bénéficie d’une rénovation totale au style affirmé avec une grande cuisine semi ouverte sur le séjour, un véritable espace parental, deux chambres pour les enfants avec salle de bains et bureau indépendant. Notre solution : Nous déposons les cloisons en supprimant une chambre qui était attenante au séjour et ainsi bénéficier d’un grand volume pour la pièce à vivre avec une cuisine semi ouverte de couleur noire, séparée du séjour par des verrières. Une crédence en miroir fumé renforce encore la notion d’espace et une banquette sur mesure permet d’ajouter un coin repas supplémentaire souhaité convivial et simple pour de jeunes enfants. Le salon est entièrement décoré dans les tons bleus turquoise avec une bibliothèque monumentale de la même couleur, prolongée jusqu’à l’entrée grâce à un meuble sur mesure dissimulant entre autre le tableau électrique. Le grand canapé en velours bleu profond configure l’espace salon face à la bibliothèque alors qu’une grande table en verre est entourée de chaises en velours turquoise sur un tapis graphique du même camaïeu. Nous avons condamné l’accès entre la nouvelle cuisine et l’espace nuit placé de l’autre côté d’un mur porteur. Nous avons ainsi un grand espace parental avec une chambre et une salle de bains lumineuses. Un carrelage mural blanc est posé en chevrons, et la salle de bains intégre une grande baignoire double ainsi qu’une douche à l’italienne. Celle-ci bénéficie de lumière en second jour grâce à une verrière placée sur la cloison côté chambre. Nous avons créé un dressing en U, fermé par une porte coulissante de type verrière. Les deux chambres enfants communiquent directement sur une salle de bains aux couleurs douces et au carrelage graphique. L’ancienne cuisine, placée près de l’entrée est aménagée en chambre d’amis-bureau avec un canapé convertible et des rangements astucieux. Le style : L’appartement joue les contrastes et ose la couleur dans les espaces à vivre avec un joli bleu turquoise associé à un noir graphique affirmé sur la cuisine, le carrelage au sol et les verrières. Les espaces nuit jouent d’avantage la sobriété dans des teintes neutres. L’ensemble allie style et simplicité d’usage, en accord avec le mode de vie de cette famille parisienne très active avec de jeunes enfants.

This is great room was fun to design because we got the utilize some of the homes original home features such as the plantation shutters and the hidden floral wallpaper in the window sills. This room had access to outside, atrium and walkway to the office.
