The two story house deliberately presents to the street looking like a single level house. The house is a sculptural play of solid and void with the horizontal concrete roof appearing to hover above the house. The house has been designed to maximize winter sun penetration while providing shade through summer with excellent cross ventilation providing cooling summer breezes through the house.

En el acceso a la casa la planta baja y la planta alta de la casa se muestran como dos cajas, de hormigón y de madera, apiladas sobre un terreno con mucho desnivel. Si nos imaginásemos el terreno como una alfombra verde, nos gusta creer que el garaje es el resultado de levantar dicha alfombra para poder esconder debajo los coches y dar más valor así al jardín. A Custom Energy Star Greenbuilt certified home built in 2017. The style of this home is Modern Rustic and includes high end finishes throughout. It boasts rustic mountain tones including a post and beam front porch, exposed large vaulted screened porch, and knotty pine accent walls and beams. We blended this rustic feel with modern touches, including a linear fireplace surrounded by European ledge stone, modern kitchen cabinetry with walnut back splash, and contemporary fixtures throughout.

Located on a hillside in Seattle's Madison Valley, the offset levels cantilever as a series of stacked boxes, Concrete and cement stucco at the base, cedar-sided in the middle, and clad with fiber-cement at the top layer, the house captures mountain views in the distance and city views in the foreground. There are decks and terraces for enjoyment of outdoor living at every level.

Fu-Tung Cheng, CHENG Design • Exterior View of Meditation Room, House 7 Concrete and Wood House 7, named the "Concrete Village Home", is Cheng Design's seventh custom home project. With inspiration of a "small village" home, this project brings in dwellings of different size and shape that support and intertwine with one another. Baitul Iman Residence is a modern design approach to design the Triplex Residence for a family of 3 people. The site location is at the Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Land size is 3 Katha (2160 sft). Ground Floor consist of parking, reception lobby, lift, stair and the other ancillary facilities. On the 1st floor, there is an open formal living space with a large street-view green terrace, Open kitchen and dining space. This space is connected to the open family living on the 2nd floor by a sculptural stair. There are one-bedroom with attached toilet and a common toilet on 1st floor. Similarly on the 2nd the floor there are Three-bedroom with attached toilet. 3rd floor is consist of a gym, laundry facilities, bbq space and an open roof space with green lawns.

Porebski Architects, Beach House 2. The client brief asked for a private sanctuary to escape their city home. Aside from capturing the beach and ocean views, the house needed to afford protection against the coastal environment including the daily onshore winds, sand and salt spray and at the same time be low-key and low maintenance; the sort of place you can walk bare-foot throughout the entire year. It achieves this via an open plan, with free-flowing spaces from inside to out, allowing summer and winter solar access within a protective barrier to the on-shore winds. Photo: Conor Quinn
