After years of spending the summers on the lake in Minnesota lake country, the owners found an ideal location to build their "up north" cabin. With the mix of wood tones and the pop of blue on the exterior, the cabin feels tied directly back into the landscape of trees and water. The covered, wrap around porch with expansive views of the lake is hard to beat. The interior mix of rustic and more refined finishes give the home a warm, comforting feel. Sylvan lake house is the perfect spot to make more family memories.

The entry from the garage is not always the showstopper space to remodel, but it made sense to improve upon these areas while we were upgrading the nearby kitchen, powder bathroom and dog room. Built-in cabinetry replaced a catch-all business center, providing organization and hiding away any clutter. At the top were glass cabinets highlighting pieces collected from their travels. The entry closet was located just upon entry from the garage, but could be a challenge to get full use of it given the garage entry door and closet door were right next to each other. Beautiful new doors with special European hinges now allow the couple to access the full closet space since the doors can be opened to 90 degrees and slide inward on each side. Small design changes like these can have a huge impact on daily use, and this was one of those locations where quality design really made a difference.

Квартира на бывшей табачной фабрике в небольшом городке в Тоскане. Проект делался неспешно, в соавторстве с Татьяной Селезневой. Законы и правила отличаются сильно от привычных в России. Главное - никто никуда не спешит)) По желанию заказчиков мебель собиралась по кусочкам, из разных мест. Например, лестница была сделана местным мастером из соседней деревушки. Все ступеньки выдвижные. Места мало, и в каждой ступеньке полка для обуви. Фартук кухни и зеркало это работа итальянского мозаичиста. Потолок традиционный для старинных домов Тосканы. Комод в прихожую привезли из Франции. Стулья в столовой De padova, стол этника. Шкафы Lago Mobili. Свет Patrizia Garganti. Аксессуары покупались на блошиных рынках в Италии и Голландии. Было интересно.

Kitchen sink's window faces westward through screen porch and through the view line supportive ached roof. Slightly recessed front door, requiring an important axial turn to the right.

This mood board was to pull together furniture and element selection that would provide the entryway with a luxurious, girly and elegant vibe to the space!
