L'aménagement du séjour et de la salle à manger a été modifié afin d'obtenir une atmosphère cosy ainsi qu'une optimisation maximale de l'espace. Le mur faisant face aux baies vitrées est décoré d'un papier peint de type fresque de chez Papermint. Il donne de la couleur, du style et de la profondeur à la pièce. Une lampe à poser volière du designer Mathieu Challières complète l'ensemble.

The stars of this casual dining room are the custom trestle table and sideboard. The navy grasscloth wall covering offers a textured backdrop for the gorgeous abstract landscape painting by local artist, Georganna Lenssen. a wool woven rug with a bold tribal inspired design enlivens the space.The classic chandelier has a brushed gold finish and linen drum shade. Three round mirrors add sparkle. well placed accessories complete the decor

This dinning room opens up to the renovated main floor with oversize floor to ceiling patio doors, wood burning stove, custom wall cabinets with metal frame and frosted glass centers, two tone kitchen with natural patinated wood cabinets, leathered granite counters, oversize single pain opening window, custom hood fan with porcelain slab backsplash.

A whimsical English garden was the foundation and driving force for the design inspiration. A lingering garden mural wraps all the walls floor to ceiling, while a union jack wood detail adorns the existing tray ceiling, as a nod to the client’s English roots. Custom heritage blue base cabinets and antiqued white glass front uppers create a beautifully balanced built-in buffet that stretches the east wall providing display and storage for the client's extensive inherited China collection.

As a practical trend, formal dining spaces have largely become obsolete in favor of great, dynamic kitchens; however, bucking the movement, my young, but highly traditional client wanted to enjoy evening meals as a routine close to the family’s scattered and hectic days. Ceilings are christened a whisper of a blush to inspire relaxed conversation under the halo of a warm glow. The traditional table and chairs are the yield of a highly juried online treasure hunt. Each piece is meticulously refinished in an updated stain more reflective of the young homeowners. Performance fabric is used on the chairs to ensure ease of cleanability to combat daily use by children and young adults. Walls are clad in a cut velvet and metallic animal print wallpaper to add subtle nostalgia from eras gone by. Millwork is freshly painted in a semi-gloss alabaster to offer relief from the wallpaper and ceiling. The opulent, antique-inspired chandelier is the dazzling focal point with draped crystal beading. Linen drapery panels seamlessly silhouette the cozy window seat. Cleanable yet regal velvet fabric upholstered cushions, ornamented with a braided trim add a final pop of elegance.

This is a modern rustic dining room with a coastal vibe, for a family that enjoys entertaining for large gatherings. Lots of natural elements feature throughout the space including the rattan chandelier, dining chairs and floral centerpiece basket. An oval mirror with beautiful coral details, frames the wall flanked by an original abstract art piece. Custom embroidered drapes on decorative wood poles, finish off this one-of-a-kind, relaxed and cozy dining space.

Около двух месяцев из квартиры выносили, вывозили и раздавали все, что можно, но и осталось немало. Поэтому значительная часть мебели в проекте пришла по наследству. Также часть мебели перекочевала из предыдущей квартиры хозяев. К примеру, круглый стол со стульями, который подарили заказчикам родители хозяйки». На стене слева: Миша Брусиловский. When one thing leads to another...and another...and another... This fun family of 5 humans and one pup enlisted us to do a simple living room/dining room upgrade. Those led to updating the kitchen with some simple upgrades. (Thanks to Superior Tile and Stone) And that led to a total primary suite gut and renovation (Thanks to Verity Kitchens and Baths). When we were done, they sold their now perfect home and upgraded to the Beach Modern one a few galleries back. They might win the award for best Before/After pics in both projects!
