Un ufficio, moderno, lineare e neutro viene riconvertito in abitazione e reso accogliente attraverso un gioco di colori, rivestimenti e decor. La sua particolare conformazione, costituita da uno stretto corridoio, è stata lo stimolo alla progettazione che si è trasformato da limite in opportunità. Lo spazio si presenta trasformato e ripartito, illuminato da grandi finestre a nastro che riempiono l’ambiente di luce naturale. L’intervento è consistito quindi nella valorizzazione degli ambienti esistenti, monocromatici e lineari che, grazie ai giochi volumetrici già presenti, si prestavano adeguatamente ad un gioco cromatico e decorativo. I colori scelti hanno delineato gli ambienti e ne hanno aumentato lo spazio . Il verde del living, nelle due tonalità, esprime rigenerazione e rinascita, portandoci a respirare più profondamente e trasmettendo fiducia e sicurezza. Favorisce l’abbassamento della pressione sanguigna stimolando l’ipofisi: l’ideale per la zona giorno! La palette cromatica comprende anche bianco che fa da tela neutra, aiutando ad alleggerire l’ambiente conferendo equilibrio e serenità. La cucina è il cuore della casa, racchiusa in un “cubo” cromatico che infonde apertura e socialità, generando un ambiente dinamico e multifunzionale. Diventa il luogo per accogliere e condividere, accompagnati dal rosso mattone, colore che aumenta l’energia e stimola l’appetito

This light, modern kitchen, with white furniture from Stoneham Kitchens Fusion collection, is fitted with plenty of glazing to look out over the garden and a large skylight to let in maximum natural light. Integrated Sensio LED lights in the ceiling and under the shelving provides even more light.

Introducing Modern living in a Victorian refurbishment. This project was part of the renovation of a captivating period property. The home is an elegant representation of architecture built for the gentry at the end of the Victorian era. Since the extension to the house has a contemporary character, this presented the challenge of designing a kitchen that would complement both the classic and modern styles. To reflect the characteristics of the construction, we used Platinum from the Leicht Ceres-C Range accompanied by a hand finished concrete surface in Brasilia on the island from the Concrete-C range. A breakfast bar in Limes Oak with matching cladding on the front is reminiscent of a timeless fashion that draws everything together. The worktops are Dekton Keon, which radiates a naturalness that is appropriate for modern environments. Its broad colour range is airy, and its brightness enhances the natural light that is carried into the room via the large windows at the rear. The majority of the appliances are from Siemens, underpinning a modern functionality and practicality. A larder refrigerator and freezer are integrated into the tall presses adjoining a glass-fronted wine fridge. Concealed by a pair of disappearing pocket doors, the double ovens with warming drawers are revealed for meal prep. The sink is equipped with a Quooker instant hot water tap. The Bora hob with built-in extraction eliminates the need for a noisy, bulky overhead extraction unit and facilitates the open shelving in a matching Platinum finish. "I now have the kitchen of my dreams! Thanks to the experience, advice and patience provided by the team at McNally Living. After only two weeks, I don't know how I lived without my Quooker hot and cold filtered water tap not to mention all of the other appliances. My Bora extractor means that I no longer have to open every window in the house when cooking. The quality and finish of the kitchen are exemplary, and the advice on sourcing the perfect worktop was invaluable. The Wolf Speed Oven and Wolf Convection Oven are flush-mounted within the cabinet doors, and a tall pull-out pantry provides convenient access to often-used items.

Complete first floor remodel. We removed a wall and made the existing openings larger to give the space a more open feel yet still warm and inviting. We used custom milled mixed width white ash floors with a commercial grade water based finish, custom cabinets, quartz countertops, Lepage widows and doors and hand made tiles.
