This family room was updated with a custom media built-in to store kids toys and keep the media organized. The walls were painted Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist, and white cabinets received matte black hardware and coastal rope sconces. Custom cushions were added to serve as a reading nook for the kids (but mostly, the dog sleeps there). Driftwood, succulents and air plants give texture and add life to this space. Light oak shelves are styled with beachy decor.

Innovative Design Build was hired to remodel an existing fireplace in a single family home in Boca Raton, Florida. We were not to change the footprint of the fireplace or to replace the fire box. Our design brought this outdated dark bulky fireplace that looked like it belonged in a log cabin, into 2020 with a modern sleeker design. We replaced the whole surround including the hearth and mantle, as well as painted the side walls. The clients, who prefer a more coastal design, loved the traditional brick pattern for the surround, so we used creamy colors in a multi format design to give it a lot of texture. Then we chose a beautiful porcelain slab that was cut using mitered edges for a seamless look. We then stained a custom mantle to match other wood tones in their home tying it into the surrounding furniture. Finally we painted the walls in a lighter greige tone to compliment the newly remodeled fireplace. This project was finished in under a month, just in time for the clients to enjoy the Christmas holiday.

in this open floor plan, a half level above the main great room is a true tv room complete with a half moon window from which to see the ocean beyond. walls are painted a lime green and the sectional upholstered in a sky blue. floor is covered in seagrass and furniture is remiscent of the mid century age. rosewood and white lacquer media console bookended by the iconic floor lamp. swivel chair is upholstered in lime green velvet while the cube ottomans are done in a true ageatic blue velvet.

This adorable beach cottage is in the heart of the village of La Jolla in San Diego. The goals were to brighten up the space and be the perfect beach get-away for the client whose permanent residence is in Arizona. Some of the ways we achieved the goals was to place an extra high custom board and batten in the great room and by refinishing the kitchen cabinets (which were in excellent shape) white. We created interest through extreme proportions and contrast. Though there are a lot of white elements, they are all offset by a smaller portion of very dark elements. We also played with texture and pattern through wallpaper, natural reclaimed wood elements and rugs. This was all kept in balance by using a simplified color palate minimal layering. I am so grateful for this client as they were extremely trusting and open to ideas. This beach home was originally built in 1936. It's a great property, just steps from the sand, but it needed a major overhaul from the foundation to a new copper roof. Inside, we designed and created an open concept living, kitchen and dining area, perfect for hosting or lounging. The result? A home remodel that surpassed the homeowner's dreams. Outside, adding a custom shower and quality materials like Trex decking added function and style to the exterior. And with panoramic views like these, you want to spend as much time outdoors as possible!

This Georgian Bay waterfront beach home is 4,500 sqft and features 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, office, gym, media room, main floor and upper floor great rooms with vaulted ceilings and a custom kitchen.

This beautiful, waterfront property features an open living space and abundant light throughout and was staged by BA Staging & Interiors. The staging was carefully curated to reflect sophisticated beach living with white and soothing blue accents. Luxurious textures were included to showcase comfort and elegance.
