This elegant bathroom belongs to the client's preteen daughter. Complete with a sit down make up vanity, this bathroom features it all. Ample cabinet storage and expansive mirrors make this bathroom feel larger since this basement bathroom does not have an exterior window. The color scheme was pulled from the beautiful marble mosaic shower tile and the porcelain floor tile is heated for chilly winter mornings.

An awkward, yet large bathroom was revamped. Striking brushed gold fixtures against deep blue and whites are a bold statement in a space that still exudes calm and fresh.

This 1956 John Calder Mackay home had been poorly renovated in years past. We kept the 1400 sqft footprint of the home, but re-oriented and re-imagined the bland white kitchen to a midcentury olive green kitchen that opened up the sight lines to the wall of glass facing the rear yard. We chose materials that felt authentic and appropriate for the house: handmade glazed ceramics, bricks inspired by the California coast, natural white oaks heavy in grain, and honed marbles in complementary hues to the earth tones we peppered throughout the hard and soft finishes. This project was featured in the Wall Street Journal in April 2022.

Master bath gets beautiful update without changing the layout. Walk in shower gets major upgrade with body sprayers, small bench with separate hand shower, grab bars, extra tall rain head, and Carrara marble style tile. Large vanity with shaker cabinets, under mount sinks, and traditional fixtures. Large acrylic freestanding soaking tub with floor mounted tub filler. Large format hexagon tile flooring. And new lighting throughout.

This beautifully blue master bath is a perfect get away space. With a large shower, an open concept space, and a vanity with plenty of storage, this bathroom is the perfect masterbath. With a simple design that makes a bold statement, who wouldn't want to wake up everyday to this space?

This Grant Park house was built in 1999. With that said, this bathroom was dated, builder grade with a tiny shower (3 ft x 3 ft) and a large jacuzzi-style 90s tub. The client was interested in a much larger shower, and he really wanted a sauna if squeeze it in there. Because this bathroom was tight, I decided we could potentially go into the large walk-in closet and expand to include a sauna. The client was looking for a refreshing coastal theme, a feel good space that was completely different than what existed. The new floor plan offered more privacy for the water closet and cozier area for the round tub. A more spacious shower was created by shrinking the floor plan - by bringing the wall of the former living room entry into the bathroom it created a deeper shower space and the additional depth behind the wall offered deep towel storage. A living plant wall thrives and enjoys the humidity each time the shower is used. An oak wood wall gives a natural ambiance for a relaxing, nature inspired bathroom experience.
