Entertaining in a bathroom never looked so good. Probably a thought that never crossed your mind, but a space as unique as this can do just that. The fusion of so many elements: an open concept shower, freestanding tub, washer/dryer organization, toilet room and urinal created an exciting spacial plan. Ultimately, the freestanding tub creates the first vantage point. This breathtaking view creates a calming effect and each angle pivoting off this point exceeds the next. Following the open concept shower, is the washer/dryer and storage closets which double as decor, incorporating mirror into their doors. The double vanity stands in front of a textured wood plank tile laid horizontally establishing a modern backdrop. Lastly, a rustic barn door separates a toilet and a urinal, an uncharacteristic residential choice that pairs well with beer, wings, and hockey.

Low height is not always an obstacle. It can be used for storage or even seating like in this very compact layout

A European modern interpretation to a standard 8'x5' bathroom with a touch of mid-century color scheme for warmth. large format porcelain tile (72x30) was used both for the walls and for the floor. A 3D tile was used for the center wall for accent / focal point. Wall mounted toilet were used to save space.

“..2 Bryant Avenue Fairfield West is a success story being one of the rare, wonderful collaborations between a great client, builder and architect, where the intention and result were to create a calm refined, modernist single storey home for a growing family and where attention to detail is evident. Designed with Bauhaus principles in mind where architecture, technology and art unite as one and where the exemplification of the famed French early modernist Architect & painter Le Corbusier’s statement ‘machine for modern living’ is truly the result, the planning concept was to simply to wrap minimalist refined series of spaces around a large north-facing courtyard so that low-winter sun could enter the living spaces and provide passive thermal activation in winter and so that light could permeate the living spaces. The courtyard also importantly provides a visual centerpiece where outside & inside merge. By providing solid brick walls and concrete floors, this thermal optimization is achieved with the house being cool in summer and warm in winter, making the home capable of being naturally ventilated and naturally heated. A large glass entry pivot door leads to a raised central hallway spine that leads to a modern open living dining kitchen wing. Living and bedrooms rooms are zoned separately, setting-up a spatial distinction where public vs private are working in unison, thereby creating harmony for this modern home. What cannot be understood in pictures & plans with this home, is the intangible feeling of peace, quiet and tranquility felt by all whom enter and dwell within it. A compact modern industrial bathroom with the homes original brick work exposed, creating a stunning feature along side large windows and floor to ceiling gloss black tiles. To add softer features to the modern industrial feel we opted for stained timber framing around the large windows and found solid wood to style the space, finding the medium between the darker and lighter colours. This space creates a feeling of escapism - creating a garden oasis. With great natural lighting into the shower and over the bath tub you can feel closer to nature as you see a beautiful garden meters away while escaping for vital moments of self care. The stunning garden oasis was never complete with its own secret, a separate enclosed shower with only one glass hinged panel and two tiled walls with a breathtaking floor to ceiling window that takes you to a place unlike home.

A modern bathroom designed for our clients in Hertfordshire. The Welsh slate effect porcelain tiles are complimented by a stunning star burst décor tile in the shower. All the latest modern technologies have been used within this Master Ensuite. We supplied the latest bidet functioning wall mounted WC with remote & heated sensor opening seats was supplied. To maximise the space around their Indigo blue wall mounted basin unit we used a recessed Steam free LED mirror cabinet. This created the much needed storage our clients required while maintaining a minimalistic approach to the final design. Using wall mounted basin mixers we have allowed for the maximum counter space.
