Well, how about a tropical themed bath that works year round? The goal of this bath was just that, to bring some fun, whimsy and tropical vibes! We started out by making some updates to the built in bookcase leading into the bath. It got an easy update by removing all the stained trim and creating a simple arched opening with a few floating shelves for a much cleaner and up-to-date look. We love the simplicity of this arch in the space. Now, into the bathroom design. Our client fell in love with this beautiful handmade tile featuring tropical birds and flowers and featuring bright, vibrant colors. We played off the tile to come up with the pallet for the rest of the space. The cabinetry and trim is a custom teal-blue paint that perfectly picks up on the blue in the tile. The gold hardware, lighting and mirror also coordinate with the colors in the tile. Because the house is a 1930’s tudor, we played homage to that by using a simple black and white hex pattern on the floor and retro style hardware that keep the whole space feeling vintage appropriate. We chose a wall mount unpolished brass hardware faucet which almost gives the feel of a tropical fountain. It just works. The arched mirror continues the arch theme from the bookcase. For the shower, we chose a coordinating antique white tile with the same tropical tile featured in a shampoo niche where we carefully worked to get a little bird almost standing on the niche itself. We carried the gold fixtures into the shower, and instead of a shower door, the shower features a simple hinged glass panel that is easy to clean and allows for easy access to the shower controls. The goal of Pineapple House designers was to stay within existing footprint while improving the look, storage capabilities and functionality of the master bath. Along the right wall, they replace the existing tub with a freestanding Roman soaking tub. Glass shower walls lets natural light illuminate the formerly dark, enclosed corner shower. Along the left wall, a new double-sink vanity has hidden storage in tall, slender doors that are configured to mimic columns. The central section of the long vanity has a make-up drawer and more storage behind the mirror. Along the back wall, a custom unit houses a television that intentionally blends into the deep coloration of the millwork. An under counter refrigerator is located in the lower left portion of unit. This compact but attractive bathroom in the attic of a spacious family house is ideal addition to the attic guest bedroom. The crisp white ceiling and beige tiles create a relaxing space - adding luxury white towels and accessories enhanced its spa-like look and feel.

The master suite features a lovely freestanding tub for a relaxing soak, located adjacent to the shower. Private water closet and entrance to second master closet beyond.

A small bathroom that meets all the needs of homeowners. In this bathroom we installed a shower, a toilet, we placed a cabinet and we hung a mirror what's more we installed lighting and took care of ventilation of the room.

The new corner shower features a zero-entry threshold (universal design feature), perfect for any person regardless of their age, size, ability or disability. The shower features include: -An Emser Cultura pebble tile floor -An Emsler white vertical tile accent wall -Kohler shower fixtures and a shower shelf Gray tile flooring and gray walls round out this beautiful new bathroom.

This masterbath proved especially challenging due to the dormer and vaulted ceiling. We incorporated a corner shower unit, U shaped vanity drawers, and plenty of storage and laundry space.

The vanity was designed with a large trough sink, a beautiful quartz countertop and under cabinet lighting. The backsplash is faux painted with Sherwin Williams Stardew and offers the perfect backdrop for a large Kohler mirror with built-in lighting.

This new ensuite was a dream to design. Inspired by colours in curtains in the adjoining bedroom, we chose these gorgeous blue tiles and stacked them for a modern design. We chose quality fixtures including this matt white top mount basin, matt white bench top, elegant wall mounted tap and wall-hung timber vanity. Special features include strip lighting underneath the vanity, underfloor heating with tiled floors and a stunning LED mirror with de-mister.
