This contemporary bath design in Springfield is a relaxing retreat with a large shower, freestanding tub, and soothing color scheme. The custom alcove shower enclosure includes a Delta showerhead, recessed storage niche with glass shelves, and built-in shower bench. Our clients wanted to renovate and update their guest bathroom to be more appealing to guests and their gatherings. We decided to go dark and moody with a hint of rustic and a touch of glam. We picked white calacatta quartz to add a point of contrast against the charcoal vertical mosaic backdrop. Gold accents and a custom solid walnut vanity cabinet designed by Buck Wimberly at ULAH Interiors + Design add warmth to this modern design. Wall sconces, chandelier, and round mirror are by Arteriors. Charcoal grasscloth wallpaper is by Schumacher.

This bathroom was updated with more current floor tile, stand alone tub and tub filler, shaker style vanities with a quartz countertop and a cool shower that features subway tile and a framless glass enclosure

The guest bath design was inspired by the fun geometric pattern of the custom window shade fabric. A mid century modern vanity and wall sconces further repeat the mid century design. Because space was limited, the designer incorporated a metal wall ladder to hold towels.

One of two identical bathrooms is spacious and features all conveniences. To gain usable space, the existing water heaters were removed and replaced with exterior wall-mounted tankless units. Furthermore, all the storage needs were met by incorporating built-in solutions wherever we could.

The secondary bathroom is similar in size and layout to the master bedroom. As opposed to a bathtub, we opted for a bathtub for parents with young children.
