You don't have to own a big celebrity mansion to have a beautifully appointed house finished with unique and special materials. When my clients bought an average condo kitted out with all the average builder-grade things that average builders stuff into spaces like that, they longed to make it theirs. Being collectors of colorful Fiesta tableware and lovers of extravagant stone, we set about infusing the space with a dose of their fun personality. There wasn’t a corner of the house that went untouched in this extensive renovation. The ground floor got a complete make-over with a new Calacatta Gold tile floor, and I designed a very special border of Lunada Bay glass mosaic tiles that outlines the edge of every room. We ripped out a solid walled staircase and replaced it with a visually lighter cable rail system, and a custom hanging chandelier now shines over the living room. The kitchen was redesigned to take advantage of a wall that was previously just shallow pantry storage. By opening it up and installing cabinetry, we doubled the counter space and made the kitchen much more spacious and usable. We also removed a low hanging set of upper cabinets that cut off the kitchen from the rest of the ground floor spaces. Acquarella Fantasy quartzite graces the counter surfaces and continues down in a waterfall feature in order to enjoy as much of this stone’s natural beauty as possible. One of my favorite spaces turned out to be the primary bathroom. The scheme for this room took shape when we were at a slab warehouse shopping for material. We stumbled across a packet of a stunning quartzite called Fusion Wow Dark and immediately fell in love. We snatched up a pair of slabs for the counter as well as the back wall of the shower. My clients were eager to be rid of a tub-shower alcove and create a spacious curbless shower, which meant a full piece of stone on the entire long wall would be stunning. To compliment it, I found a neutral, sandstone-like tile for the return walls of the shower and brought it around the remaining walls of the space, capped with a coordinating chair rail. But my client's love of gold and all things sparkly led us to a wonderful mosaic. Composed of shifting hues of honey and gold, I envisioned the mosaic on the vanity wall and as a backing for the niche in the shower. We chose a dark slate tile to ground the room, and designed a luxurious, glass French door shower enclosure. Little touches like a motion-detected toe kick night light at the vanity, oversized LED mirrors, and ultra-modern plumbing fixtures elevate this previously simple bathroom. And I designed a watery-themed guest bathroom with a deep blue vanity, a large LED mirror, toe kick lights, and customized handmade porcelain tiles illustrating marshland scenes and herons. This master bath went from drab to high tech! We took our client's love for the view of the lake behind his home and turned it into a space where the outside could be let in and where the privacy won't be let out. We re configured the space and made a full wet room with large open shower and luxury tub. The vanities were demolished and a floating vanity from Canyon Creek Cabinets was installed. Soothing Waterworks Statuary white marble adorns the walls. A Schluter tileable kerdi drain and A Kohler DTV controls the shower with dual rainshower heads, the Kohler Numi commode does it all by remote as well as the remote controlled electrified glass that frosts and unfrosts at the touch of a button! This bath is as gorgeous as it is serene and functional! In the Entry, we added the same electrified glass into a custom built front door for this home. Pour ce projet, notre client souhaitait rénover son appartement haussmannien de 130 m² situé dans le centre de Paris. Il était mal agencé, vieillissant et le parquet était en très mauvais état. Nos équipes ont donc conçu un appartement plus fonctionnel en supprimant des cloisons et en redistribuant les pièces. Déplacer les chambres a permis d’agrandir la salle de bain, élégante grâce à son marbre blanc et ses touches de noir mat. Des éléments sur mesure viennent s’intégrer comme la tête de lit éclairée de la chambre parentale, les différents dressings ou encore la grande bibliothèque du salon. Derrière cette dernière se cache le système de climatisation dont on aperçoit la grille d’aération bien dissimulée. La pièce à vivre s’ouvre et permet un grand espace de réception peint dans des tons doux apaisants. La cuisine Ikea noire et blanche a été conçue la plus fonctionnelle possible, grâce à son grand îlot central qui invite à la convivialité. Les moulures, cheminée et parquet ont été rénovés par nos professionnels de talent pour redonner à cet appartement haussmannien son éclat d’antan.

This amazing master bathroom features tile from AKDO and Artistic Tile. Bath hardware and fixtures are by Kohler. Mirrors are custom. Vanity is by Kohler with retrofitted Asian hardware. I wanted to continue a Medieval motif (in keeping with the rest of the home), so I found this unique and extraordinarily beautiful mosaic, to create a central focal wall and a feature wall over the vanity. I also wanted to incorporate round shapes to break up the hard angles of the room, with custom-made mirrors continuing that shape. The end result is a clean and modern space that still feels warm and comfortable but really amps up the modern feel of the space.

This master bath is uniquely shaped and we wanted to maximize the visual impact upon entering to really give that "wow" effect. In addition to visual beauty, we also added a lot of features to make this space function well for the client, including the storage combination in the custom vanities we created to wrap the angles seen here. In a Brookline home, the upstairs hall bath is renovated to reflect the Parisian inspiration the homeowners loved. A black custom vanity and elegant stone countertop with wall-mounted fixtures is surrounded by mirrors on three walls. Graceful black and white marble tile, wainscoting on the walls, and marble tile in the shower are among the features. While we didn't move anything around in the bathroom we did upgrade everything. The new vanity has roll outs for storage and built in electrical plugs for convenience. The tower that sits on the counter top also has a built in plug. The mirrors are medicine cabinets for additional storage. The new tub is deeper and wider then the old tub for luxurious baths. The tub deck is Taj Mahal Quartzite, and we used the slab so it is seamless. It wateralls into the shower and was used on the shower dam as well. The tile is the focal point and is marble and mother of pearl. His and her niches with a mosaic pattern add interest to the shower. The shower floor is also marble. The chandelier is capez shells and adds just the right amount of bling and reflective quality for this tranquil master bathroom.
