The materials in the room are soothing and give a nice vintage vibe in keeping with the rest of the home. We completed a kitchen remodel for this client a few years’ ago and were delighted when she contacted us for help with her master bath! The bathroom was fine but was lacking in interesting design elements, and the shower was very small. We started by eliminating the shower curb which allowed us to enlarge the footprint of the shower all the way to the edge of the bathtub, creating a modified wet room. The shower is pitched toward a linear drain so the water stays in the shower. A glass divider allows for the light from the window to expand into the room, while a freestanding tub adds a spa like feel. The radiator was removed and both heated flooring and a towel warmer were added to provide heat. Since the unit is on the top floor in a multi-unit building it shares some of the heat from the floors below, so this was a great solution for the space. The custom vanity includes a spot for storing styling tools and a new built in linen cabinet provides plenty of the storage. The doors at the top of the linen cabinet open to stow away towels and other personal care products, and are lighted to ensure everything is easy to find. The doors below are false doors that disguise a hidden storage area. The hidden storage area features a custom litterbox pull out for the homeowner’s cat! Her kitty enters through the cutout, and the pull out drawer allows for easy clean ups. The materials in the room – white and gray marble, charcoal blue cabinetry and gold accents – have a vintage vibe in keeping with the rest of the home. Polished nickel fixtures and hardware add sparkle, while colorful artwork adds some life to the space.

We designed this Daughter's Bathroom to be a tranquil and sophisticated space with accents of rose gold on sconces and cabinetry hardware. The rose gold is a lovely accent on the soft green/grey cabinetry. The vanity wall is covered in Ann Sacks glazed porcelain mosaic. The countertops are a beautiful White Macabus Quartzite for both an elegant yet easy care material.

We took a tiny outdated bathroom and doubled the width of it by taking the unused dormers on both sides that were just dead space. We completely updated it with contrasting herringbone tile and gave it a modern masculine and timeless vibe. This bathroom features a custom solid walnut cabinet designed by Buck Wimberly.

It’s always a blessing when your clients become friends - and that’s exactly what blossomed out of this two-phase remodel (along with three transformed spaces!). These clients were such a joy to work with and made what, at times, was a challenging job feel seamless. This project consisted of two phases, the first being a reconfiguration and update of their master bathroom, guest bathroom, and hallway closets, and the second a kitchen remodel. In keeping with the style of the home, we decided to run with what we called “traditional with farmhouse charm” – warm wood tones, cement tile, traditional patterns, and you can’t forget the pops of color! The master bathroom airs on the masculine side with a mostly black, white, and wood color palette, while the powder room is very feminine with pastel colors. When the bathroom projects were wrapped, it didn’t take long before we moved on to the kitchen. The kitchen already had a nice flow, so we didn’t need to move any plumbing or appliances. Instead, we just gave it the facelift it deserved! We wanted to continue the farmhouse charm and landed on a gorgeous terracotta and ceramic hand-painted tile for the backsplash, concrete look-alike quartz countertops, and two-toned cabinets while keeping the existing hardwood floors. We also removed some upper cabinets that blocked the view from the kitchen into the dining and living room area, resulting in a coveted open concept floor plan. Our clients have always loved to entertain, but now with the remodel complete, they are hosting more than ever, enjoying every second they have in their home. --- Project designed by interior design studio Kimberlee Marie Interiors. This custom 72” is a great example. Its clean, modern style gracefully floats in the space and behind the doors is an array of unique storage options. To complement the simplicity of the vanity lines, instead of adding another cabinet or armoire, we opted for cool floating drawers and shelves. The lighting and faucet fixtures echo the modern and tailored aesthetic.

Waynesboro master bath renovation in Houston, Texas. This is a small 5'x12' bathroom that we were able to squeeze a lot of nice features into. When dealing with a very small vanity top, using a wall mounted faucet frees up your counter space. The use of large 24x24 tiles in the small shower cuts down on the busyness of grout lines and gives a larger scale to the small space. The wall behind the commode is shared with another bath and is actually 8" deep, so we boxed out that space and have a very deep storage cabinet that looks shallow from the outside. A large sheet glass mirror mounted with standoffs also helps the space to feel larger.
