Kisel Construction

I bought a house in Fair Oaks in July of 2018 from Kisel Construction. The design of the House was excellent and the interior is well done. The sellers real estate agent was a big problem, so beware of that. The biggest problem with Kisel is Their follow up if you have warranty issues. It takes weeks and months to get anything fixed during the one year fit and finish warranty. I dealt with at least 4 different warranty coordinators during that first year. For example, Kisel tells you to call the electrician if you have an electrical problem. The Electrician then tells you to only call the Contractor. Back and forth back and forth with all the subs. I had to write letters basically threatening them to fix items during the warranty period. Now I have some LED lights that are out and are under manufacturers warranty. Same problem. They will not take the time to assist me with the problem. Their answer is to take the part back to Home Depot. Well I did and you need the contractors receipt to get the part replaced. So now I wait for some kind of receipt. Won’t happen unless I bug them repeatedly. You get no information for appliance warranties, etc. etc. I should have been more diligent before closing. In summary they spend no effort before or after closing to make sure you have all the information you need for warranty repairs, theirs or manufacturers warranty. So in summary, the house is designed well both the interior and layout. The construction is okay no big major problems as yet. Their warranty department, such as it is, is a disaster. Make sure if you close on one of their homes you get all of that squared away first.
