This Beautiful Master Bathroom blurs the lines between modern and contemporary. Take a look at this beautiful chrome bath fixture! We used marble style ceramic tile for the floors and walls, as well as the shower niche. The shower has a glass enclosure with hinged door. Large wall mirrors with lighted sconces, recessed lighting in the shower and a privacy wall to hide the toilet help make this bathroom a one for the books! Photo: Matthew Burgess Media

. A frosted shower and one sink vanity screamed outdated, in its place now stands a gorgeous marble encased shower. Two handy niches now make storing his/her favorite body wash or shampoo easy. Creating a striking contrast against the white marble and white walls are Brazilian slate tiles that cascade across the entire chevron patterned bathroom floor to the square shower pan.

This beautiful bathroom has light gray marble floors. The large shower has white Carrera marble subway tiled walls, gray marble basketweave tile floor, and a luxurious oil rubbed bronze rainfall shower head. The two vanities are made of solid cherry wood and are topped with a blue-gray quartzite. French gold and oil rubbed bronze fixtures add a warm and polished detail. The bathroom’s window seat is special spot, providing extra storage and lots of light. The main projects in this Wayne, PA home were renovating the kitchen and the master bathroom, but we also updated the mudroom and the dining room. Using different materials and textures in light colors, we opened up and brightened this lovely home giving it an overall light and airy feel. Interior Designer Larina Kase, of Wayne, PA, used furniture and accent pieces in bright or contrasting colors that really shine against the light, neutral colored palettes in each room. This stunning master bath remodel is a place of peace and solitude from the soft muted hues of white, gray and blue to the luxurious deep soaking tub and shower area with a combination of multiple shower heads and body jets. The frameless glass shower enclosure furthers the open feel of the room, and showcases the shower’s glittering mosaic marble and polished nickel fixtures. The separate custom vanities, elegant fixtures and dramatic crystal chandelier give the room plenty of sparkle.

The existing shower footprint was slightly enlarged and surrounded by a frameless glass enclosure. The marble wall tile continued behind the new freestanding tub and wrapped around to the vanity, creating a seamless look throughout the bathroom. A double niche in the shower provides ample storage space for toiletries and the rain shower and separate hand-held shower head create a truly relaxing shower experience.
