This Bay Village bathroom on Cleveland's West Side has been completely gutted from it's original state and updated to have a sleek, modern look. The shower has been finished in marble subway tiles, and the floor in hexagon shaped marble tiles. A pedestal sink saves space in this compact bathroom, along with the built in cabinetry.

St. George's Terrace is our luxurious renovation of a grand, Grade II Listed garden apartment in the centre of Primrose Hill village, North London. Meticulously renovated after 40 years in the same hands, we reinstated the grand salon, kitchen and dining room - added a Crittall style breakfast room, and dug out additional space at basement level to form a third bedroom and second bathroom.

Three apartments were combined to create this 7 room home in Manhattan's West Village for a young couple and their three small girls. A kids' wing boasts a colorful playroom, a butterfly-themed bedroom, and a bath. The parents' wing includes a home office for two (which also doubles as a guest room), two walk-in closets, a master bedroom & bath. A family room leads to a gracious living/dining room for formal entertaining. A large eat-in kitchen and laundry room complete the space. A partial renovation of the bathroom brought tremendous results. We pulled the vanity out in the bath and replaced it with one of our signature custom space saving vanities with recessed toilet paper holder and storage cabinet over the toilet. We also added a Robern medicine cabinet with much more storage, much needed electrical outlets, and enclosed the tub / shower in glass. Design Tip: By leaving the existing stone tiles and fixtures in place, we were able to conserve budget and apply it to the high-end finishes in the amazing open kitchen and living room transformation.

We carried the beveled subway and penny tile detail around the room to give a more cohesive feel to the space. The vanity was customized as a drawer style piece, allowing each of the boys his own storage space.

Sleek, well appointed bath for Chicago high rise condo. Granite counter top with simple undermount sinks. Flat front cabinet panels with crystal pulls. A pair of mirrors for each sink with medicine cabinets off to the side. Finishing touch is the 3 drop pendant light with crystal shades.

DOWNLOAD NOW   This charming little attic bath was an infrequently used guest bath located on the 3rd floor right above the master bath that we were also remodeling. The beautiful original leaded glass windows open to a view of the park and small lake across the street. A vintage claw foot tub sat directly below the window. This is where the charm ended though as everything was sorely in need of updating. From the pieced-together wall cladding to the exposed electrical wiring and old galvanized plumbing, it was in definite need of a gut job. Plus the hardwood flooring leaked into the bathroom below which was priority one to fix. Once we gutted the space, we got to rebuilding the room. We wanted to keep the cottage-y charm, so we started with simple white herringbone marble tile on the floor and clad all the walls with soft white shiplap paneling. A new clawfoot tub/shower under the original window was added. Next, to allow for a larger vanity with more storage, we moved the toilet over and eliminated a mish mash of storage pieces. We discovered that with separate hot/cold supplies that were the only thing available for a claw foot tub with a shower kit, building codes require a pressure balance valve to prevent scalding, so we had to install a remote valve. We learn something new on every job! There is a view to the park across the street through the home’s original custom shuttered windows. Can’t you just smell the fresh air? We found a vintage dresser and had it lacquered in high gloss black and converted it into a vanity. The clawfoot tub was also painted black. Brass lighting, plumbing and hardware details add warmth to the room, which feels right at home in the attic of this traditional home. We love how the combination of traditional and charming come together in this sweet attic guest bath. Truly a room with a view! A guest bath with a custom breakfront cabinet and tile design. Accent tiles are spread throughout border on the backsplash as well as along the perimeter of the room. Simple slab front cabinet doors with stained accents allow the intricate mirror to be a show piece in the room. Two light sconces compliment the style of the mirror and create a glow at eye level. A user friendly kids bathroom meant to age gracefully and appeal to a wide assortment of tastes. We opted for a pale grey subway tile with a slightly crackled finished - a refreshing take on the standard white with dark grout. The sink and toilet were wall-mounted to maximize the usable floorspace
