This contemporary bathroom design in Doylestown, PA combines sleek lines with comfort and style to create a space that will be the center of attention in any home. The white DuraSupreme cabinets pair perfectly with the Cambria engineered quartz countertop, Riobel fixtures, and Top Knobs hardware, all accented by Voguebay decorative tile behind the Gatco tilt mirrors. Cabinetry includes a makeup vanity with Fleurco backlit mirror, customized pull-out storage, pull-out grooming cabinet, and tower cabinets with mullion doors. A white Victoria + Albert tub serves as a focal point, next to the contrasting black tile wall. The large alcove shower includes a corner shelf, pebble tile base, and matching pebble shower niche.

Originally a nearly three-story tall 1920’s European-styled home was turned into a modern villa for work and home. A series of low concrete retaining wall planters and steps gradually takes you up to the second level entry, grounding or anchoring the house into the site, as does a new wrap around veranda and trellis. Large eave overhangs on the upper roof were designed to give the home presence and were accented with a Mid-century orange color. The new master bedroom addition white box creates a better sense of entry and opens to the wrap around veranda at the opposite side. Inside the owners live on the lower floor and work on the upper floor with the garage basement for storage, archives and a ceramics studio. New windows and open spaces were created for the graphic designer owners; displaying their mid-century modern furnishings collection. A lot of effort went into attempting to lower the house visually by bringing the ground plane higher with the concrete retaining wall planters, steps, wrap around veranda and trellis, and the prominent roof with exaggerated overhangs. That the eaves were painted orange is a cool reflection of the owner’s Dutch heritage. Budget was a driver for the project and it was determined that the footprint of the home should have minimal extensions and that the new windows remain in the same relative locations as the old ones. Renovation salle de bain Simple mais efficace, la décoration de la salle de bain affiche un air chic, dans l'air du temps. J’ai proposé les carreaux XXL. Résultat la pièce a une tout autre dimension. On ose le carreau sous différents motifs et formes . Deco sobre et élégante avec un mélange de contemporain et de bois pour un effet très nature.

When your primary bathroom isn't large, it's so important to address the storage needs. By taking out the built in tub, and adding in a freestanding tub, we were able to gain some length for our vanity. We removed the dropped soffit over the mirrors and in the shower to increase visual space and take advantage of the vaulted ceiling. Interest was added by mixing the finish of the fixtures. The shower and tub fixtures are Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass, and the faucets and all accessories are matte black. We used a patterned floor to create interest and a large format (24" x 48") tile to visually enlarge the shower. This primary bath is a mix of cools and warms and is now a high functioning space for the owners.

We love to go bold with our powder room designs, so we selected a black textured tile on the vanity wall and a modern, geometric wallpaper to add some additional interest to the walls.
