“We moved into a new house, and I needed to turn the former dining room into my music studio. There was a large 7-foot opening, as well as a second door into the kitchen I needed doors for. John Brazil of Trim Craft came over to look at the project, and he came up with the idea for the doors. We ended up with a 5-foot French door for the bog opening, with 1-foot sidelights on either side and a transom window on the top. The smaller door was very tall, so he build a transom for that as well. Also, to balance out the front entry, he suggested a transom window on the top of the door frame on the room across the hall, which I am so glad we went with. John build the doors and window, and installed everything, and the doors look absolutely perfect! We also had hardwood flooring installed in that room, and he put the baseboard back up for us at no charge when he was doing the doors (something the hardwood floor company wanted to charge me $300 for, but which took John about 10 minutes). We are so happy with the work we are looking at having John do some additional projects, such as building custom cabinets and rebuilding the falling apart front porch railings. John is a super fun person to have around, really enjoyable to chat with while working, and just one of those guys you look forward to seeing.”
