“Matt and 9 Trees Landscape was recommended to me by my neighbors. After reviewing his other projects on the website and meeting with Matt in person, I knew that I had made the right choice! Matt designed my patio including pool layout for my backyard. He communicated readily via email and in person and provided a budget estimate with my goals in mind. He worked well with the pool contractor to coordinate timing of the project. Once the job started, Chris, the foreman, and other workers were on time, worked hard, provided updates, and were meticulous in their work. When adjustments in the project plan were needed, Matt was quick to communicate those changes. Matt checked in on the job site regularly as well. They also installed landscaping and sod around the patio/pool. I absolutely love the patio, pergola, fire pit! Can't wait to use it next year! I highly recommend Matt and 9 Trees Landscape for any patio/landscape project.”

“My husband and I bought a fixer-upper while I was pregnant with my second child. The house had a great layout but had been used as a rental for years and was in desperate need of a cosmetic refresh, and we were on a time crunch. Matt came out and walked us through all the options and helped us prioritize so that we could get the biggest bang for our buck. We hired him to renovate our bathroom, gut and rebuild our kitchen, and replace all of the trim and doors in our home. His crew was courteous, knowledgeable, and we were impressed with how every small request we'd communicated to Matt had been passed down to the crew which prevented the drama we'd heard about others having during the remodeling process. We got a beautiful look at a reasonable cost and we were so happy with the work that we hired River Mill Construction again the next year to build a front porch and picket fence out front. We loved THAT so much that when it came time to finish our walk-out basement, we called Matt. He helped us maximize every square inch (and even add a full bath!). He was able to advise us on where to splurge and where to save to get a beautiful look and we really appreciated that there was no pressure to spend more than our budget. Matt seemed excited to get us the house of our dreams without breaking the bank, and we couldn't be more pleased!”

“These are our new "go-to guys" for exterior work. We recently had Ohio Exteriors replace the tired, rotted cedar on the exterior of our home with Hardie Plank. The job was large and took several weeks to complete--long enough to get to know these guys a bit. Everything about our experience was impressive. They were prompt and courteous. They redid things that they were dissatisfied with without us even noticing it was a problem. They cleaned up after themselves! Oh--they were very competitive on price as well. The house looks phenomenal. We've done a lot of remodeling. This was a peak experience.”

“Kilby construction poured a ~2400 square foot pad in front of our house. I can't recommend them highly enough. Our pour was very technically challenging because we have a set of versalock steps and an eddington block planter in front of the porch that lies about 6 inches below the garage floor that's only a few feet away. Most contractors were telling us that we either needed to install a drain or that we needed to rip out the first step and cover the first two rows of block. Kilby found a way to pour it without a drain, so that the pad meets the garage floor, the steps and block are still in tact, and the pad still drains away from the house! Very professional, showed up on time, completed the job quickly, and came back and scraped off all of the little splashes that got on the block and steps during the pour. All that and they were among the lowest bids for the job. Great company! Don't hesitate to hire them!”

“Hanawalt Exteriors replaced our vinyl siding with cement fiber siding. Their price was similar to others, but they had the technology and personality to help us visualize our dream house. They had computer software to show what our house would look like with different colors and style so we felt confident in our final decision. We wanted the appearance of window sills where none existed before and they did it. We replaced the awnings over our front and back doors with roofs. Every detail to enhance the look of our house was considered - even the new location for the house numbers. Work was completed professionally and with beautiful results.”

“They installed a cedar fence for us at a new house in October, 2011. They completed the job in 3 days, just as our moving trucks were pulling up to the house. With three dogs we wanted a fence when we moved in and they did a great job. The owner met with me and we went over my sketch. He made suggestions and we placed flags to locate the fence. The property is wedge shaped on a cul-de-sac and he made good suggestions to improve the layout. We could not be more pleased with the professionalism and the quality of the work.”
