“My wife and I wanted to replace our ageing 20 year old cedar deck in our backyard. So we contacted Kevin Monohan, co-owner of Avalon NW Landscaping, and our neighbor up the street. The design effort was truly a collaborative process, which we liked. We met with him 4 or 5 times throughout the process to conceptualize and to come up with a design about the layout, the hardscapes, the plantings, and the timing and execution of the plans. Kevin always encouraged us to give our ideas for the patio. It was always a joy meeting with Kevin.
