We relied heavily on Alberto to guide us -- he was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and figured out exactly what we wanted so that the final product matched our vision. Mejia is a wonderful company to work with -- good with design, superlative in execution. Their workers always treated the inside of our house with respect and made sure that materials were transported through the house in such a manner that it did not damage the floors.”

“Nato Vargas and his team did extensive drainage work for us in 2014. This involved taking down the soil level 4 inches in the back garden, digging and installing several french drains and a sump pump. Since then we've had no water accumulation during subsequent rainy seasons, protecting our foundation. The drainage works perfectly! Nato and team have come back twice, in 2017 and 2020, to repair and stain our back garden fence, resurface the gold fine decomposed granite paths, install a new mail box, replace a garden gate and build a wood shelter for our recology bins. Nato and his team do beautiful work!”

He offered great advice on what plants would work well in our Daly City microclimate, be minimal maintenance, and not cost too much. His team redid my backyard in less than a day. They cleared out debris and rocks, put in grass, and planted bushes, flowers, and trees. Our yard is beautiful now! Joel was also reasonably priced and flexible on payment method. “John and his team provided stellar revitalization of my years-neglected landscaping in both the front and back yards, transforming overgrown, half-dead chaos into lush and blooming spaces. He expertly pruned my 5 fruit trees, foundation shrubs, all the roses and the flowering maples, amended clay soil with organic material for better plant health and even dug out and replaced the dirt around the front walkway with a faster-draining mixture so that the succulents bordering it now thrive. Additionally tuned up the drip irrigation system to ensure every plant was getting water and no water was being wasted. Also hauled away all the debris and left the place immaculate! John has a great eye for garden design -- several of his suggestions for moving/replacing/adding plants were things I wouldn't have thought of but they have pulled the design together. I now have him doing monthly maintenance and the work is absolutely meticulous, keeping the garden and front entry inviting spaces year-round.”
