This company comes highly recommended. Joel and his staff are very professional. Communication was excellent throughout the course of construction. They managed to complete the project in a timely manner with no long delays throughout the project milestones. Joel did not hesitate to ask questions to make sure we resolved issues that were not clearly detailed in the landscape architects drawing and offering advice on what he recommends. Joel did an excellent job of capturing the changes and adds to the project both in scope and cost. His staff left the job site safe and clean everyday. Overall I could not be any happier with the outcome. My family and I spend much time in the back yard and my front finally has curb appeal. Joel was also the one who recommended Tammy. The landscape architect that prepared my project plans. She also comes highly recommended. Great communication even after the project has been completed. I completed my project almost a year ago. Joel and his staff have continue to maintain the landscape and they do a great job at making sure the site looks tip top.

Bloom and Lawn is owned and operated by Joel Lopez in partnership with his brother Jorge and his father Joel Senior. There are 10 people in total on the crew. . They worked on my steep hillside backyard property in windy, foggy Diamond Heights San Francisco for nearly a month and I recommend them highly. The entire crew of Bloom and Lawn are skilled professionals, the craftsmanship is excellent and experienced, they collaborate and work exceedingly well together, I am very happy with the high quality of their work and design. they built a cool sturdy hog wire fence on a steep hillside; 3 well-built, stone, long lasting retaining walls; a charming flagstone patio; a level stone pad for a grill; and functional fun stepping stones. They repaired the faulty irrigation and crumbling stairs from different hardscaping company. Bloom and Lawn happily planted / transplanted trees, shrubs, grasses, and flowering vines--all of which were wind resistant, drought resistant and attract pollinators! In other words, I now have a beautiful garden which I can enjoy tending, and where my social pod can enjoy being together safely.Overall, Bloom and Lawn is an ace company. They have INTEGRITY (honest, hard working) and RESPECT (courteous and friendly). They are COLLABORATORS (Joel collaborated with me to engineer my vision and bring it to life), and PROFESSIONALS (clear and straightforward communication, pricing and billing, flexible with change, good problem solving skills). I’d like to commend Joel Tapia of Bloom and Lawn Landscaping and his crew for doing such a terrific landscaping job at our home. Joel is very nice to work with and is very professional. He takes the time to review your needs and offers suggestions. Our new sod lawn and plants make our home look beautiful and brand new. It’s like a model house! Joel took the time to go with us to select the plants to go along with the new lawn. His prices are reasonable and his workers great. We had 1,000 square feet of lawn plus a tree and plants added. The job was done in just two days. We decided to retain them for our biweekly maintenance too. Thank you, Bloom and Lawn, for a job well done! You guys are great! Steve & Liz.
