“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

She's now helping us with design choices for our new home. I can't speak highly enough of her! She makes what can be a stressful and overwhelming experience into something fun and interesting, she has great ideas, and remembers every detail. She is also very knowledgeable about resources we can use to reduce costs, which is important to us. A great experience!”

“Sam, made my bathroom remodel so easy! She brought over the samples with everything coordinated. Saved me hours and hours of trying to figure out what tile, flooring, vanity, etc., and then saved me from all the endless second-guessing that I would have done on my own. Problem solved! It was so easy to order everything I needed, and with her research and knowledge, she was able to save me quite a bit of money on some items.”

“I used Jen to help me accessorize my great room/entryway and some of my bedrooms. The great room had a large wall with shelving that I was struggling with but had in my mind what I wanted it to look like. Jen “nailed” it!! The wall of shelving looks exactly how I had pictured in my mind and is very balanced and unique and the entry is very inviting as you open the front door. Everything just flows beautifully. She was able to find very interesting accessories and really listened to my thoughts and style. The bedroom accessories are beautiful as well. She took on this project during Covid so some things became unavailable or took too long to receive and she quickly came up with other options for me to choose from. She always got back to me in a timely manner and always showed up to our appointments on time. She was great to work with and I’m extremely happy with the final results. I would highly recommend her services!!”

“I spent 18 months five years ago working with Ms. Keiser to furnish my new SF home. I had decided to bring no furniture from my upper EastSide Manhattan apartment. I wanted a new approach, different from what my decorator had so splendidly done there. I had high expectations but she was young. I decided to take a chance because I liked her confidence and her sense of style and her hutzpah to disagree with me. We spent days at the Design Center visiting a dizzying array of vendor show rooms. We reviewed catalogs, agreeing, disagreeing on fabrics, styles, We visited scores of antique shops, consignment stores. She found a HudsonSide Table, four Les Arcs Barstools, a Furlong Ottoman (that has dazzled visitors0 and more. At the conclusion of our partnership Ms. Keiser presented me with a leather bound book replete with photos, invoices of evrrt item we acquired. “Katherine helped us first by arranging existing furnishings and accessories and making suggestions based on what our overall goals were. It was amazing how re-framing pictures, adding a new lamp and putting a new shade on an existing lamp enhanced our family room. Next she found an area rug for our entry that complimented and unified two different rooms. Katherine’s suggestions for two fireplace mantel accents were perfect. Her idea for a custom area rug with a leather boarder for our kitchen nook was spot-on. She helped us choose hardwood to replace carpeting in our family room and dining room. Guchi Interiors installer was excellent! Stairs were redone with carpet on the tread and hardwood on the risers. When I found some beautiful fabric in Hawaii and wanted to have it framed, she suggested a much more elaborate panel using a drapery rod and tassels. The result was awesome and so much more than I expected. Katherine took the time to really get to know us and we are so pleased to have found her.”
