“Naibu Design managed the interior design on our full-house renovation, in Malabar, Sydney in 2020. This included designing an ensuite bathroom, main bathroom and new kitchen, plus sourcing all lights, flooring, finishes and fittings for a 3-bedroom house with an outdoor pool-room/studio. Alison began by making sure she understood our functional needs as a family of four, as well as our aesthetic style, and then worked within the possibilities of the house itself and our budget to achieve a beautiful, usable space. I found her exceptional to work with - she is diligent, pragmatic and technical, but also creative and stylish, and you need all those qualities to deliver quality interior design. She also communicates really well with builders, suppliers and architects. I highly recommend her.”

“Becc, thank you for taking the time to understand what we were really aiming for with our home. We really appreciate that you were able to help us style our home at an affordable price. Finding solutions and inexpensive options that fitted perfectly with our design brief. The neutral colour palette compliments our solid timber flooring perfectly. The varied textures and the touches of blue have made a real difference to the cosiness of the space. However, what we love most is that you have been able to provide us with a Hampton's style that fits in with our locality. I had always thought that Hampton's meant beach style but Becc showed us how we could incorporate the best of the Hampton's without too much of the beside the ocean look. We also love the incorporation of the baskets and accessories in our guest bathroom including amazing rustic baskets and the styling of the wood stack beside our pot belly stove. “Suzanne’s biggest strength is her eye for colour and her ability to assess what will work in various spaces. She just knows how to visualize where furniture will go and how it will fit. It was a little hard for us initially to digest that some of our things had to go, but what she suggested we should keep with where it should go turned out to be just terrific. Her suggestion to buy two of the same rugs to lay across the whole long space of our living room was especially inspired. You can’t see the join in them at all, and they have given the room a wonderful sense of comfort and unity with our existing furniture. What I liked about working with her was that she gave no cause for concern about exceeding the budget I set and got me, in particular, to jump outside my comfort zone. I can really say, we are so pleased with the result.”

“The brief for Helen was to inexpensively lighten and modernise our tired lounge-dining room. Helen recommended the following simple changes and this achieved the improved outcome. Painting the dark timber white and adding a white mantelpiece gives it a fresh look. The dark blue lounge previously looked out of place but by putting the single chairs across the window it opens the whole room up to the outside garden. Changing the colour scheme of the walls from beige to light grey and the carpet from cream to a darker grey, tones in perfectly with the existing furniture. By adding the floor rug and cushions in blue and white stripes, and removing some clutter from the shelves, we feel we have a new vibrant living space. All this was achieved with the minimal expense of paint, carpet and a few soft furnishings and of course Helen's great eye for colour and design. We're thrilled with the result!”
