“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“I spent 18 months five years ago working with Ms. Keiser to furnish my new SF home. I had decided to bring no furniture from my upper EastSide Manhattan apartment. I wanted a new approach, different from what my decorator had so splendidly done there. I had high expectations but she was young. I decided to take a chance because I liked her confidence and her sense of style and her hutzpah to disagree with me. We spent days at the Design Center visiting a dizzying array of vendor show rooms. We reviewed catalogs, agreeing, disagreeing on fabrics, styles, We visited scores of antique shops, consignment stores.
