“I was introduced to Valerie Wills of JV Staging through an event at the San Francisco Design Center. Always on the look out for fresh home design ideas and resources, I asked her for a recommendation for fine art framing. Not only did she give me a great local source, I discovered a perfect fit for helping me prepare one of my rental properties for a real estate listing. I liked examples of JV Staging work on the website so invited Valerie to view the property. Valerie was early for the appointment and prepared with a tapemeasure, camera and great ideas. The three bedroom condo needed some TLC, having had rowdy renters there for over 3 years. The kitchen and two baths were outdated but I was on a minimal budget to make it market ready. Valerie instantly understood it's mid-century charm and worked with me through proposed cosmetic improvements. I was impressed with her checklist approach room by room to play up best features. She explained how a neutral paint color would open up one pretty dark corner. Valerie also understood how to minimize a few trouble spots like wall mounted heater units and outdated tile by suggesting chic decorative screens, great modern accessories and area rugs. And, it was brilliant how she could visualize furniture placement to give maximum advantage to the 900 square feet of space and views I needed to play up! I received a very reasonable and detailed proposal from Valerie within 24 hours of the viewing. It was more than could be said of the other 2 companies I had submit bids. One came in at over $3500 more than JV Staging and was not nearly as detailed. The other company took over a week to respond and I could not trust they would meet my deadlines. I booked JV Staging and literally didn't have to worry as the crew handled a flawless installation that was not disruptive to other tenants in the building. My condo was listed and sold 9 days later after three offers. This service paid for itself! The new owners were so impressed that they are now working with Valerie on a more developed residential design, including a full remodel of the kitchen. I will use JV Staging again. They make the stressful process of selling a property just that much easier!”
