“I needed my whole house remodeled so we can list it for sale. I found Spectrum One on Angie's List and called their office to schedule an estimate. The lady who picked up the phone told me that there is a fee of $125 for Spectrum's estimators to come out which afterwards will get credited to me when Spectrum starts the job. I paid the fee via credit card and the lady scheduled the appointment the next day. Paul and Daniel came to my house right on time, they were very professional and knowledgeable. They took all the necessary measurements, pictures, and answered my questions about the whole process (I had some questions about the permit process and other things which I wasn't sure about), and in couple of days I received a reasonable quote. The estimate was very detailed and included everything we've discussed. I called Spectrum's office with some questions and got all clarifications I needed prior the work started. Spectrum pulled the permit 3 days after we signed the contract and the crew came out to do the demolition. All the workers who came to my house were very professional, they worked hard, and would always clean up after themselves, which I really appreciated. Spectrum One has done an amazing job remodeling my whole house from inside and outside. They really pay attention to detail. I loved the fact that if I had any questions or concerns I could contact the office and the sweetest staff would accommodate me with the world class customer service. I can't express how happy I am with making the choice to go with Spectrum One. They were absolutely amazing on all the aspects (administrative and construction). “Eric has been wonderful to work with! We hired him for a complete renovation of a bathroom in our home that was built in 1920. He listened to our thoughts and concerns and helped us maintain the charm of our old home while completely updating the bathroom. He was timely with his bid which included 4 possible options presented to us via computer renderings of the space. He completely gutted our bathroom to the studs including expanding the bathroom into an adjacent closet. He paid close attention to details of the room including structural asymmetries that he needed to correct. Using his civil engineering background, he was able to make the not-so-level space that has been settling over the past 100 years (including roof, windows, doorways and floor) completely level and proper. Something that another contractor may ignore or not see and simply dry-wall over, Eric paid attention to! Again, I think his years of experience in engineering really shine as he pays attention to structural details and knows how to fix it. The plumbing and electrical were all updated and integrated into the existing infrastructure. He installed new windows. He spent hours with us choosing our tile and plumbing. He was very responsive and always easy to get in touch with and talk to. He uses a neat app that allows us to follow his progress. He provides daily updates on that app with photos and a “job log.” He also includes the budget on that app. Speaking of budget — the final payment was spot on from the initial bid which was amazing. Eric recreated molding for our doors and windows that we could not find anywhere! They match the rest of our home perfectly! He restored the original medicine cabinet and sink which was super important to us. Again, using his craftsmanship he recreated the molding on the medicine cabinet to match the rest of the home. He paid great attention to detail and takes pride in his craftsmanship work. He was clean and respectful of our home and space. He always left his work space clean and organized. He is very honest and earnest. The project stayed on time and was seamless. We plan to hire Eric again in the near future! We high recommend him for any project!”

“Joe enlarged my family room, built a new kitchen, added a sun room and added a new garage. He does excellent work and is easy to work with, particularly in regards to my style of planning and design, which is continuous and involves reaching decisions just before the work starts (in some cases). His flexibility enabled me to end up with a great design without having to continuously go through a formal process. I realize this can lead to cost overruns, but Joe worked closely with me to keep the expenses down. He did a bathroom for me a few years ago and this too turned our very well. He is trustworthy and honest as well as optimistic and supportive. A friend in Davis, CA, who also had a room addition but by a different contractor, was without air conditioning during June and July because her A/C unit had to be re-located. Mine did too. But as an example of Joe's creativity, he lifted my air conditioner onto a low platform suspended from the wall being taken out (see photo), poured the new concrete slab underneath the A/C, did the framing and electrical and then moved the A/C to the new slab with only a 3 hour interruption of my A/C.
