D.S. Powell Construction Company

The seller of the home I purchased my home from used D.S Powell but I’ve had to deal with their work and it’s been a nightmare. Despite having a contact that stated they were responsible for obtaining a permit, they didn’t and when I reached out to request that they do they said it wasn’t needed. I had to get the city involved to force them to file for one. I also had to get the city involved to get them to correct part of their electrical work but they refuse to engage to try and resolve bigger issue in relation to electrical work. Their reaction to me and their inability to own their mistakes has led to tension and my feeling so jarred and intimidated that I no longer want them doing any work at the house which leaves me with either paying for issues I shouldn’t have to or filing complaints and court. I would avoid these guys at all cost.
