“I love my new raised garden beds!!! I initially had just an idea of what I wanted to optimize growing space in my tiny backyard. I gave a rough concept overview to Sam and he immediately came back with great ideas that included computer-animated diagrams to help me visualize. Once the decision was made, Sam was flexible in working around my difficult schedule to get the work done when it was convenient for me. “Had SAH perform a kitchen remodel for us. We interviewed 5 contractors/builders and decided to go with SAH both on a recommendation as well as how comfortable we felt with Tom, who came to our home. We heard from many people as to what to expect with a kitchen remodel and to expect problems. We also heard how people grew tired of their contractors after a while. Well, we could not have been happier to have SAH in our home and had zero problems with them. Any small issue that may have arisen, was taken care of by SAH without us having to even ask. It is an expectation of perfection that Scott places on himself and his company. Scott is one skilled craftsman! I would highly recommend SAH if you are seeking a quality builder!”

“New Creation added an 18' by 20' addition to my house. I found them very honest, hard working, eager to please, co-operative and reasonable cost. There were no misunderstandings. Changes to the original contract were done with appropriate cost. I felt they had my best interests as their best interest and they did talk me out of a few things which they explained were not necessary. After the project was finished, I missed having them around. 大工の種類


建築工法が多様化した今日、Eddington, PAの大工は仕事の内容によってさまざまな種類に分類されます。

  • 型枠大工：マンションや学校、病院、オフィスビルなど、主要構造部を鉄筋とコンクリートで作られる建築物を扱う職人を指します。型枠大工は、鉄筋コンクリートの型枠の中にコンクリートを流し込んで、柱や床、壁、階段などを作ります。
  • 木造大工：木造大工とは一般的に「大工さん」と呼ばれる職人で、主に木造住宅や２階建て程度の木造アパートなどの、主要構造部（柱や梁）を木で組み立てるのが仕事です。
  • 造作大工：「造作」とは、梁や柱、土台、階段など、建築物の主要構造部以外の壁、床、天井、窓枠を指します。主にRC造等の住宅やマンションの内部を職人を造作大工と呼びます。店舗に特化した内装大工もこの造作大工の一部として分類されます。
  • 建て方大工：建て方大工とは、現場で建物の主要な構造材を組み立てる職人を指します。土台の、柱、梁、棟上げを仕上げる作業が建て方大工の仕事です。

    左官とは


    和の邸宅に合うような漆喰壁を施工するというイメージが強い左官職人ですが、モルタルやタイルなどの素材を使って壁を塗る人も含まれます。施工には特に資格は必要ありませんが、国家技能検定である「左官技能士」や「登録左官基幹技能者」という資格を有している職人さんもおり、プロを選ぶ判断の一助となることでしょう。最近ではDIYでも珪藻土の塗り壁の施工を行う人が多いですが、マスキングの技術や、下塗り、(場合によっては) 中塗り、上塗りとその工程は意外と時間がかかり難儀なもの。また、下地に密着しきれずカビが生えてしまった、ひび割れしてしまったなどのトラブルもあるのだそうです。繊細な仕上げを求めるのであれば、プロに左官工事を依頼するのがベストです。
