“Custom Wood LLC designed and enlarged our kitchen at our home on LBI after the flood of Super Storm Sandi. They were great to work with and had many options and price levels to fit any budget. Their showroom had many many samples to look at and visualize. Working in my small area with existing windows and doors was a challenge but Custom Wood gave me several options to choose from and worked with me to be sure that every detail was addressed. I would highly recoemmned them to anyone looking to have work done.”

At our first meeting, Mike and Jenn visited our home to see the space and get a sense of what my husband and I were looking for. Mike built a wall unit on a 15 foot wall in our living room. It included four sets of bottom cabinets with doors, topped with a 15 foot counter top, and floating shelves on the walls above. Mike worked with us very closely to achieve the exact stain color of the wood we desired. The finished piece exceeded all of our expectations...the mastery of his art, his attention to detail, the perfect color stain! We absolutely love what he build for us! I would hire Mike again in a second and would very highly recommend him. I hope I can find another project for him in my home in the not-too-distant future.”

“My wife and I engaged John to install a vast amount of cabinetry and crown molding (fabricated by others) when we renovated our NYC co-op over 6 months in 1999. The quality of his work and commitment to quality were extraordinary. It was pleasure working with him (I served as GC for the job). The attached photo illustrates how he scribed a very short return of the shoe molding running around the base of an inset mahogany bookshelf to the shoe molding abutting the room's baseboard. (Really, who does this?) More recently, he made for us and installed a beautiful cover for a through-wall HVAC unit. Again, an unvarying commitment to quality.
