That was 1983… Over the next 23 years Brian’s cabinet and furniture-building skills continued to improve, along with his reputation as a master craftsman as he hand-built custom cabinets for some of the finest homes in Northern Michigan. There is no one in Northern Michigan as knowledgeable about kitchen design, cabinet construction and installation. In 2010 Brian formed a partnership with a small, Amish-run cabinet factory in Southern Indiana. The family-run facility builds Wolverine's cabinets to Brian's exacting specifications. He believes the quality of the cabinetry, individual attention and education he gives his clients, along with great customer service are behind Wolverine Cabinet Company's success. Wolverine Cabinets has a line of superb cabinets -- the best I've seen. However they also have a line that competes with the big box stores in price with more options and better quality -- and that is what we chose for a totally remodeled kitchen in our Up North home. Brian and Chris and the rest of the team also offered excellent very personal and professional design and follow up service. Highly recommended.

She offered options and solutions when needed. The cabinets were completed on time and ready to install when the builder needed them. They are well-built and attractive. The builder raves about how easy they are to install!

Because we were building a new home in Mackinaw City, my husband and I worked closely with Tarynn and Brian in designing our kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. They were both extremely helpful, flexible, full of suggestions and creative ideas. Tarynn helped me design my master bath cabinetry which is centered around the look of a "piece of furniture" look. The solid wood cabinetry was custom and is striking to see - cabinets have soft close doors and drawers. I have both stained and painted cabinets and was pleased with the help in determining colors.

Not a business

Wolverine Cabinets did the primary cabinetry (i.e., kitchen, bathrooms, but not closets) for our high-end new-construction home on Lake Michigan in Bay Harbor. We used them on recommendation of our builder, Wolverine Custom Homes (unrelated to Wolverine Cabinet). They were honest, highly professional, had great ideas but were respectful of our input, and carried out our intent. The cabinets are top quality and while not cheap worth every penny and more. They returned our phone calls and e-mails promptly, provided diagrams and pricing for the alternative layouts we requested without complaint, and completed the cabinets by the time they said they would be ready. There were no hidden surprises such as finding out all those organizers and roll-outs weren't in the original bid. Unless you are familiar with cabinet construction and materials, you are a babe in the woods (just look up on the internet the quality and service issues associated with many major brands) so the integrity of the folks selling them to you is paramount. They had it in spades. I highly recommend their services.

Wolverine Cabinet's gave me the dream kitchen I always wanted. I had strong opinions on what I liked but didn't know how to pull them all together. Brian came through with the design and layout of the cabinets and countertops. I love, love my new kitchen. Many people tell me they haven't seen one quite like it. It just sparkles! We were able to stay within a very reasonable budget, which is what made my husband so happy. Brian was always very attentive, kept me informed of the time line for the entire process. I was also blown away by the Cambria team, how they measured and placed the countertops. Every component was top notch!
