The project «Romantic Classics» (classic interior design of S-Studio, Kyiv) apartments in the heart of Kiev. Apartments were designed as a harmonious whole space in the classical style, decorated with qualitative materials and fitted out with modern equipment: system of «Smart Light», home cinema, house appliances, central air conditioning, heated floor, etc. Replanning of the apartment was done in accordance with the wishes of customers: combined kitchen and living room have been turned into studio, and a dressing room and a niche have been created for a spacious hallway closet. The style of design project is a romantic classic. The interior was made in soft pastel colors with elegant decorative ornaments and floral patterns. The traditional stucco elements were applied in the decoration of the classical apartments: cornices, moldings, ceiling rosettes, caissons and a dome decorative motives of which are repeated in the elements of furniture, which are very popular in the classical interior design. Natural walling materials of Lincrusta were used in decorative panels of the bedroom and hall, a wood-panels office were used in the individual design of the study, textile wallpaper of trendy European manufacturers were selected, matching the overall design of the apartment were chosen for the living room and other rooms. Besides, there were elaborated massive parquet floor design and the floor in the living room was decorated with a panno- vignette which was specially created for the classical interior. The dressing table seperates the bedroom area, which creates a cozy place for a mistress. Daughter’s room was decorated in the style of glamor, selected by her request. Repair work was supervised by Nadiya Samokhina. The commission consisted of the design of a new English Manor House on a secluded 24 acre plot of land. The property included water features, rolling grass areas at the front and a steep section of woods at the rear. The project required the procurement of permits from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Conservation and a variance from the Mendham Zoning Board of Appeals. The stately Colonial Manor is entirely clad in Pennsylvania stone, has slate roofs, copper gutters and leaders, and lavish interior finishes. It comprises six Bedroom Suites, each with its own Bathroom, plus an apartment over the garages, and eight garage bays. The house was designed with energy efficiency in mind, and incorporates the highest R-value insulation throughout, low-E, argon-filled insulating windows and patio doors, a geothermal HVAC system, and energy-efficient appliances.

2014 ASID Design Awards - Winner Silver Residential, Small Firm - Singular Space Renovation of the husbands study. The client asked for a clam color and look that would make her husband feel good when spending time in his study/ home office. Starting with the main focal point wall, the Hunt Solcum art piece was to remain. The space plan options showed the clients that the way the room had been laid out was not the best use of the space and the old furnishings were large in scale, but outdated in look. For a calm look we went from a red interior to a gray, from plaid silk draperies to custom fabric. Each piece in the room was made to fit the scale f the room and the client, who is 6'4". This home office was created to be able to seat 2 people when required and also provide a space for younger family members to complete homework or do crafts. The desk top was custom built using plywood to fit over trestle legs. The colour blocking and wall art adds visual interest.

This magnificent European style estate located in Mira Vista Country Club has a beautiful panoramic view of a private lake. The exterior features sandstone walls and columns with stucco and cast stone accents, a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the lake, and an outdoor living area and kitchen for entertaining. The interior features a grand foyer with an elegant stairway with limestone steps, columns and flooring. The gourmet kitchen includes a stone oven enclosure with 48” Viking chef’s oven. This home is handsomely detailed with custom woodwork, two story library with wooden spiral staircase, and an elegant master bedroom and bath. The home was design by Fred Parker, and building designer Richard Berry of the Fred Parker design Group. A full refurbishment of a beautiful four-storey Victorian town house in Holland Park. We had the pleasure of collaborating with the client and architects, Crawford and Gray, to create this classic full interior fit-out.

We created an audio network of 15 different zones to provide a completely immersive and seamless audio experience. James Loudspeaker provided customized interior speakers that matched the size, and most importantly, the color needed for each room. This varied from an oak brown color in the study, to a mint green in the living room. Few manufacturers can provide speakers in any color like James Loudspeaker.

Overlooking the River Dee, this bespoke sitting room was inspired by the houses original Georgian style. It consists of alcove cabinets, panelling, bi-fold shutters and 'secret room' shelving and cabinet storage. The alcove cabinets were made to have inclosed shelving with a mixture of adjustable and fixed shelves to store folders and books. The bottom of the right hand side was requested as a coffee table height and the left was suitable to fit the office computer inside. Both bottom cabinets had wire cable access. The wall of panelling was carefully designed to all match the alcoves and shutters by using the same style of beading and plinth. The panelling was made from three different size frames and it incorporated the door to the 'secret room' as well as lighting switch for the room. The shutters were bi-folded and designed to look like a panelled feature once closed. We used magnets to keep the shutters together and stop light coming through once closed. 'Secret room' consists of enclosed shelves, open cabinets and a floating shelf above the door to maximise space for storage of more books. The alcove cabinets internals are made from real oak veneer coated with a hard wax oil, to give a great long lasting protection. The rest of the furniture are made from a combination of tulipwood and moisture resistant MDF spray finished to match 'Mylands Onslow 48'. All carefully designed, made and fitted in-house by Davies and Foster.
