In this kitchen, Waypoint 650F cabinetry with recessed shaker panel doors in Painted Linen Finish. The countertop is Eternia 3cm Brampton quartz with a double roundover edge and includes a 4” backsplash at the peninsula. The backsplash is a decorative picket-style ceramic tile color is Mythology Olympus. A Blanco undermount double bowl in metallic gray with a Moen Brantford Pullout Faucet in Spot Resistant Stainless and (2) Moen Soap/Lotion dispensers in Spot Resistant Stainless. The flooring is Mannington Adura Max luxury vinyl in the Merdian Carbon finish.

This twin home was the perfect home for these empty nesters – retro-styled bathrooms, beautiful fireplace and built-ins, and a spectacular garden. The only thing the home was lacking was a functional kitchen space. The old kitchen had three entry points – one to the dining room, one to the back entry, and one to a hallway. The hallway entry was closed off to create a more functional galley style kitchen that isolated traffic running through and allowed for much more countertop and storage space. The clients wanted a transitional style that mimicked their design choices in the rest of the home. A medium wood stained base cabinet was chosen to warm up the space and create contrast against the soft white upper cabinets. The stove was given two resting points on each side, and a large pantry was added for easy-access storage. The original box window at the kitchen sink remains, but the same granite used for the countertops now sits on the sill of the window, as opposed to the old wood sill that showed all water stains and wears. The granite chosen (Nevaska Granite) is a wonderful color mixture of browns, greys, whites, steely blues and a hint of black. A travertine tile backsplash accents the warmth found in the wood tone of the base cabinets and countertops. Elegant lighting was installed as well as task lighting to compliment the bright, natural light in this kitchen. A flip-up work station will be added as another work point for the homeowners – likely to be used for their stand mixer while baking goodies with their grandkids. Wallpaper adds another layer of visual interest and texture. The end result is an elegant and timeless design that the homeowners will gladly use for years to come. The Solstice team updated the kitchen design for this Odenton, MD home located in the Four Seasons Estates. The result is a bright, open plan transitional kitchen that enhances both the style and functionality of the home. The foundation of this design is HomeCrest by MasterBrand Sedona style cabinets in maple with a French vanilla finish. Behind the stylish cabinet doors sits ample customized storage, including a pantry cabinet with roll out shelves, tray dividers, a customized pull out with cooking utensil inserts and a knife block, and much more. The kitchen cabinets are accessorized by Top Knobs Brixton hardware and Blue Dunes granite from Atlas Stone. A Kohler Whitehaven apron front sink with a Delta Cassidy pull out spray faucet give the design an eclectic edge. The backsplash is a simple 2 x 8 Gris Claro gray subway tile from Compass Stone & Tile. The kitchen island has barstools for casual dining, and is complemented by Varnum 4-light lantern pendants. The COREtec Edinburgh Oak luxury vinyl tile floor from local supplier Quality Carpet One in Crofton adds warmth to this welcoming kitchen design.

This stunning white and gray kitchen is open to the great room. The gray paint wraps into the kitchen and ties the two spaces cohesively together. Designed by Curtis Lumber Company, Inc., the kitchen features: Merillat Masterpiece Cabinets with the Martel door style finished in Dove White, Cambria Quartz counters in Berwyn, Coretec flooring in Rainier Oak, Emtek Hardware in Sweep, lighting from the Z-Lite Zarra Collection and the backsplash is Gesso from Kotto. Our design team installed Adura MAX Vinyl plank floating floors across the entire first floor. The flooring color Dockside Boardwalk provided a more desirable look in both finish and wide plank. Modern vinyl floors look like wood, are more durable than wood, water proof, and easy to clean; which makes them perfect for this clients growing family. Fabuwood Cabinetry in the Cobblestone finish look sleek and pair nicely with the kitchens new tones. The large central island is filled with storage, seating, and countertop space. The New River granite countertops shine under all the new LED recessed and under cabinet lighting. A little painting spruce up and now the scene is set to finish with the homes new more current finishes and furnishing.

To arrive at the open, inviting space with a modern edge, Riverside Construction removed a wall that separated the kitchen from the dining room and relocating the kitchen to the old “toy” room. The new L-shaped layout with a large curved island was comfortably designed to seat four with plenty of counter space.

In this kitchen, Siteline Cabinetry in the Walton shaker door style with the Toffee stain finish was installed. The countertop is MSI Calacatta Valentin quartz with a standard edge treatment with a Transolid Stainless Steel Sink and Moen Spot Resist Stainless faucet. The tile backsplash is 3x12 irregular subway tile by Anatolia Marlow collection. An Elmwood Park collection pendant light over the island and a mini chandelier in Brushed Nickel. On the floor is 18x18 Flex Corinthia in the Amber color Luxury Vinyl Tile.
