This Classic Shaker Style handmade kitchen was completed for our client in Henham, Essex. It has been designed to fill the space created by the architect and client as a brand new build property to exact specifications. The property includes solid Oak beams which are exposed, meaning we had to fit some of the cabinetry around them, the great thing about this is the kitchen becomes part of the property rather than looking like it was added after. We hand-painted the kitchen furniture in Down Pipe by Farrow and Ball which has dark lead and blue tones within it. Our client’s opted for the very best cooking and cooling appliances including the Sub-Zero 1067mm Over-and-under Refrigerator with French Door and internal dispenser. The Wolf cooking appliances include the 762mm M-series Contemporary black glass oven, 914mm Transitional induction cooktop, 762mm M-series Convection Steam oven and matching 762mm Warming Drawer. In the island we incorporated a Liebherr Wine Cabinet. For the main kitchen we supplied and fitted a Polished Chrome Quooker Classic Nordic single tap with Pro3 tank. This has been combined with a Shaws 1000 double bowl sink. For the utility room we supplied and fitted a Perrin & Rowe Phoenician Monobloc mixer tap with rinse in chrome finish. The sink is another Shaws model designed to be extra wide & deep for bathing the dogs.

When planning this custom residence, the owners had a clear vision – to create an inviting home for their family, with plenty of opportunities to entertain, play, and relax and unwind. They asked for an interior that was approachable and rugged, with an aesthetic that would stand the test of time. Amy Carman Design was tasked with designing all of the millwork, custom cabinetry and interior architecture throughout, including a private theater, lower level bar, game room and a sport court. A materials palette of reclaimed barn wood, gray-washed oak, natural stone, black windows, handmade and vintage-inspired tile, and a mix of white and stained woodwork help set the stage for the furnishings. This down-to-earth vibe carries through to every piece of furniture, artwork, light fixture and textile in the home, creating an overall sense of warmth and authenticity.

Viewed from the family room, this kitchen opens up to a catering kitchen through the arch on the left and the husband's study through the archway on the right. Seating for nine, divided between the L-shaped island, banquette and dining chairs, was a priority for these clients who entertain often. They wanted family and friends to be able to watch the TV in the adjacent family room, during meals in the open plan kitchen. The repurposed French farm house wood floor anchors the space and provides a lived-in feeling to this newly constructed home. The vivid sunset colors of the chair fabric on the chairs bring energy and warmth to the space while the glass front cabinets from Woodland provide display space for special dishware. Location was a key factor for the developer of these 72 luxury beachfront condominiums in New Rochelle, NY, offering prime real estate with spectacular water views, all within a short commute to New York City. An unusual aspect of this project was the developer’s commitment to offer prospective buyers completely customizable interior buildouts. The architect and developer teamed with Bilotta to devise a program offering 17 stains, 17 paint finishes and a variety of door styles, giving homeowners total control of their kitchen and bathroom details and accessories, a significant and successful selling point. In this particular unit, sand, surf, and sunshine are transported indoors with light-reflecting white cabinetry atop natural oak flooring, punctuated by a slate blue island that seats five. Practical blue-gray quartz countertops are a complementary echo of the island’s hue. A generous molding treatment emphasizes the tall ceiling height. There’s plenty of room for two pantry cabinets, as well as a wine refrigerator in the island. “Flying Saucer” island pendants and a cubist dining chandelier add contemporary flair. The stunning highlight of each residence is a 30-foot-long wall of glass facing the water. With 2,400- 2,700 square feet apiece, the proportions of the open plan kitchen, dining and family room live like a gracious freestanding home. This client's kitchen was a bit challenging in that the space was SO big we wanted to fill the space in a thoughtful way without adding cabinets to just fill the space. I am glad that they liked my plan to make the hood navy to break up all of that cherry, in the end the space is warm and inviting and so much more functional than the original kitchen.

Large open plan white kitchen, with traditional custom cabinetry. 2" Caesarstone countertops compliment the pale grey marble tile backsplash in Herringbone pattern. New stained wood oak floors. The kitchen is finished off with a custom polished stainless steel hood and stainless steel cabinet hardware.

This lower level bar is the focal center for a busy family of five. Spending Michigan summers on the lake and entertaining friends and family sets the need for a design that allows for quick access and easy service. With a 42" raised bar, the kitchen area is concealed. Glass cabinets and stacked stone backsplash keep the focus on the latest playoff game while the undercounter ice maker help to always have drinks on hand.

Our large remodeled kitchen as two islands - one to seat and serve at, the other is the washing and clean up space. Sink and dishwasher makes it for the hard working island. Beautiful chevron patterned stone showcases for all the backsplashes.
