We wanted to create a space where all the family would could get together and enjoy or entertain friends. We designed a warm palette of taupes, creams and brass fittings. The quartz surfaces gave the kitchen a beautiful gloss finish with the wood panelling to the front of the island the perfect finishing and unique touch.

This transitional design kitchen is a stunning blend of traditional and contemporary styles. The warm and inviting color palette of soft grays and whites provides a calming atmosphere that is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The sleek, white cabinets offer plenty of storage, while the stainless steel appliances add a modern touch. The island provides extra counter space, while the statement pendant lights add a hint of glamour. The backsplash is a mosaic of glass and stone tiles, creating a stunning focal point. Whether you're entertaining or cooking a meal, this transitional design kitchen is sure to make a statement.

Cet ancien cabinet d’avocat dans le quartier du carré d’or, laissé à l’abandon, avait besoin d’attention. Notre intervention a consisté en une réorganisation complète afin de créer un appartement familial avec un décor épuré et contemplatif qui fasse appel à tous nos sens. Nous avons souhaité mettre en valeur les éléments de l’architecture classique de l’immeuble, en y ajoutant une atmosphère minimaliste et apaisante. En très mauvais état, une rénovation lourde et structurelle a été nécessaire, comprenant la totalité du plancher, des reprises en sous-œuvre, la création de points d’eau et d’évacuations. Les espaces de vie, relèvent d’un savant jeu d’organisation permettant d’obtenir des perspectives multiples. Le grand hall d’entrée a été réduit, au profit d’un toilette singulier, hors du temps, tapissé de fleurs et d’un nez de cloison faisant office de frontière avec la grande pièce de vie. Le grand placard d’entrée comprenant la buanderie a été réalisé en bois de noyer par nos artisans menuisiers. Celle-ci a été délimitée au sol par du terrazzo blanc Carrara et de fines baguettes en laiton. La grande pièce de vie est désormais le cœur de l’appartement. Pour y arriver, nous avons dû réunir quatre pièces et un couloir pour créer un triple séjour, comprenant cuisine, salle à manger et salon. La cuisine a été organisée autour d’un grand îlot mêlant du quartzite Taj Mahal et du bois de noyer. Dans la majestueuse salle à manger, la cheminée en marbre a été effacée au profit d’un mur en arrondi et d’une fenêtre qui illumine l’espace. Côté salon a été créé une alcôve derrière le canapé pour y intégrer une bibliothèque. L’ensemble est posé sur un parquet en chêne pointe de Hongris 38° spécialement fabriqué pour cet appartement. Nos artisans staffeurs ont réalisés avec détails l’ensemble des corniches et cimaises de l’appartement, remettant en valeur l’aspect bourgeois. Un peu à l’écart, la chambre des enfants intègre un lit superposé dans l’alcôve tapissée d’une nature joueuse où les écureuils se donnent à cœur joie dans une partie de cache-cache sauvage. Pour pénétrer dans la suite parentale, il faut tout d’abord longer la douche qui se veut audacieuse avec un carrelage zellige vert bouteille et un receveur noir. De plus, le dressing en chêne cloisonne la chambre de la douche. De son côté, le bureau a pris la place de l’ancien archivage, et le vert Thé de Chine recouvrant murs et plafond, contraste avec la tapisserie feuillage pour se plonger dans cette parenthèse de douceur.

This Kitchen replaces a formerly cramped space that lacked work space and storage. Now plenty of full-height cabinets and two long counters offer more prep and serving space as well as bar seating and storage in this T-shaped plan. Appliances (ovens and fridge) are at the end, with cooking, sink and dishwasher toward the center of the Kitchen, which is open to the expanded and remodeled living spaces, to the left but unseen in this photo. At the right rear corner, one door leads to the Garage and the other leads to a Pantry. A soft brown palette for cabinetry, backsplash, countertops and flooring keeps the Kitchen warm, neutral and inviting. Lighting includes a solar tube, recessed cans, and undercabinet fixtures.

As with every client, our goal was to create a truly distinct home that reflected the needs and desires of the homeowner while exceeding their expectations. The modern aesthetic was combined with warm and welcoming hill country features like the white limestone exterior in a coarse linear pattern, knotty alder slab front cabinets in the kitchen and dining, and light wood flooring throughout. Stark, clean edges were balanced with rounded and curved light fixtures as well as the limestone cladding fireplace surround in the family room. While the design was pleasing to the eye, measures were taken to ensure a sturdy build including steel lintel window header details, a fluid-applied flashing window treatment to prevent water infiltration, LED recessed can lighting, high-efficiency windows with LowE glass coatings, and spray foam insulation. The backyard was specifically designed for entertaining in the Texas heat with a covered patio that offered multiple fans and an outdoor kitchen.

Voici une vue plus large du plan de travail avec la crédence. La vasque est intégrée dans le plan de travail pour apporter un effet "bloc", comme si la vasque avait été creusée dans un bloc de pierre. La crédence est en miroir teinté bronze pour apporter de la profondeur à la pièce, sans pour autant capturer trop longuement le regard. L'idée est vraiment de créer un ensemble cuisine qui s'intègre à la pièce. Toutes les parties métalliques sont traitées façon laiton, que ce soit au niveau de l'appareillage électrique, ou bien du mitigeur.
