The older couple needed a kitchenette to be on the same level as their bedroom. Their large house has three levels, making it a long difficult trek for the couple with health issues. Originally housing a billiard table, this room was converted to house a small kitchenette. A single burner induction cooktop is perfect for them to make their breakfast.

This Kitchen was designed by Nicole in our Windham showroom. This kitchen remodel features Cabico Essence Cabinets with Maple wood Tobio door style (recessed panel) and Mexico (dark brown) stain finish. This remodel also features LG Viatera quartz countertop with Aria color and standard edge. The floor is an Alterna 12x 24 blanched mists from their Historical District collection. Their backsplash is 3 x12 mist from their element collection with lighter pewter grout color. Other features include Kohler stainless steel sink and faucet and Amerock stainless steel bar handles.

Modern update to a very dated 70's kitchen. We opened up the space by relocating appliance and cabinetry, allowing for a more functional and inviting work space.

Oak wood cabinets went against the grain for this homeowner. Previously, the former kitchen yielded a yawn-worthy amount of neutral sub-par wood grains. Now, the new remodel is enveloped in warm, inviting taupe hues. Going from woodgrain to flat color instantly infuses a clean, fresh palette. The combination of flat color in a warm tone offers the same warmth of wood. From traditional to a modern minimalist sensibility, the homeowners refaced existing cabinets in Prestige Statesman Beaded Edge style doors are accented with satin nickel hardware. Additionally, the homeowners knew refacing was an excellent choice. Refacing offers a quicker solution to transform sturdy existing cabinetry to a brand-new effect. As for the countertops, Cambria Quartz in Brittanicca brings a fresh, rich effect with a simple cream swirl to coordinate perfectly with the stone-hued cabinetry. A round over edge brings a minimalistic look to make a designer statement. The Brittanicca pattern in engineered quartz suggests the look of marble yet offers significantly more durability and antimicrobial properties. Meanwhile, a solution for the underused space over the kitchen radiator was needed, adding that the area now serves as a highly functional pantry. The custom pantry was the "icing on the cake," particularly with glass front doors, to create a focal point. In all, the design choice also works to expand the kitchen visually.

Lovely tile found at local tile store pulls the look together with the L.V. plank floors through the first floor for a full updated look.

The darker toned cabinetry is used for the kitchen island, cabinets surrounding the refrigerator, and for the base cabinets, while the upper cabinets are a lighter finish. An MSI linear glass mosaic tile backsplash and Cambria quartz countertop pulls together the color scheme where the two cabinetry colors meet. The cabinets have ample customized storage including built-in spice racks and a pantry with rollout trays. A bi-level peninsula separates the kitchen from the living and dining areas, and includes bar seating for casual dining. A double bowl undermount sink is located in the peninsula, and GE black slate appliances feature throughout the kitchen. Homecrest Cascade luxury vinyl tile flooring finishes off this transitional design with a splash of rustic tones.

BELLA ANIMA Our Clients wanted space for entertainment as well as congregating for family casual meals. We were looking at a space that had several choppy rooms and one dramatic staircase that was hidden behind a very tight wall. The challenge was to incorporate the curving staircase with the design so that it looked like it was part of the open concept living area. In order to make use of the space we had to use a beam to open up the area. To incorporate the circular staircase, we made a semi circle dining area and we brought the countertop down to a dining height and changed the material type to a wood. We were so pleased to be able to give them the eclectic look that they loved, a mix of several materials, and a working area that exceeded their expectations.
