This open concept remodel is the home to new Rustic Hickory kitchen cabinets from Dura Supreme Cabinetry shown in the Morel stained finish. A bar area is tucked behind a stunning weathered bar door, opening up to reveal beautiful Classic White cabinets with open shelves for decoratively displaying a collection of dishware. The seating at the peninsula of this rustic hickory kitchen gives a graceful nod towards nature. The branches in the seat mirror the other organic elements in this design and the landscape that surround this home. The new owners of a huge Mt. Airy estate were looking to renovate the kitchen in their perfectly preserved and maintained home. We gutted the 1990's kitchen and adjoining breakfast room (except for a custom-built hutch) and set about to create a new kitchen made to look as if it was a mixture of original pieces from when the mansion was built combined with elements added over the intervening years. The classic white cabinetry with 54" uppers and stainless worktops, quarter-sawn oak built-ins and a massive island "table" with a huge slab of schist stone countertop all add to the functional and timeless feel. We chose a blended quarry tile which provides a rich, warm base in the sun-drenched room. The existing hutch was the perfect place to house the owner's extensive cookbook collection. We stained it a soft blue-gray which along with the red of the floor, is repeated in the hand-painted Winchester tile backsplash.

This kitchen remodel was designed by Astrid from our Windham showroom. This kitchen features Yorktowne Iconic Cabinets with maple wood, Dixon flat panel door style and White Icing Classic paint finish (Kitchen) and Harbor Mist sheer paint finish (Island). Other cabinetry featured in this kitchen includes a wood hood, double wall oven, wine cube and tall bookcase. It also features Hanstone Quartz countertop with Italian waves and standard edge. This flooring is Bella Cera hardwood floors with Valerio color from their Villa Borghese collection. The backplash is Anatolis soho 4”x16” subway tile style in warm gray. Other features include Blanco White Apron front sink and Delta pull down faucet Brushed Nickel.

This gorgeous estate home is located in Parkland, Florida. The open two story volume creates spaciousness while defining each activity center. Whether entertaining or having quiet family time, this home reflects the lifestyle and personalities of the owners.

After the unforgettable 2020 shut down we were finally able to get some great pictures of a home we rebuilt after a destructive fire that had burned over 60% of their home. 2020 has been an interesting year for the construction business but thankful we've been able to stay busy & you can look forward to many more project photos to come.
