Functional layout and beautiful finishes make this kitchen a dream come true. Placing the sink on an angled corner of the island between the range and refrigerator creates an easy work triangle while the large island allows for roomy prep space. Two pantries, one near the range and one near the refrigerator, give plenty of storage for dry goods and cookware. Guests are kept out of the cooks way by placing ample seating and the full service bar on the other side of the island. Open views through the breakfast room to the beautiful back yard and through large openings to the adjoining family room and formal dining room make this already spacious kitchen feel even larger.

We opted for an Art Deco-inspired scheme. We designed the bar’s concave wood panels which were coated with a platinum finish. The rear wall area onto which shelves are mounted is sheathed with sheets of antiqued mercury glass. There are an aged brass sink and its matching faucet on the left side.

This is a lovely, 2 story home in Littleton, Colorado. It backs up to the High Line Canal and has truly stunning mountain views. When our clients purchased the home it was stuck in a 1980's time warp and didn't quite function for the family of 5. They hired us to to assist with a complete remodel. The sit - down bar area clad in custom metal and topped with the same Quartzite stone used in the kitchen. The upper cabinet doors have a metal grid insert that works to repeat the pattern found on the sit down bar walls in a smaller scale. The open shelves have integrated LED lights that add an ambient glow.
