For a family of four this design provides a place for everyone to sit or curl up and relax. The stately fireplace grounds the space and provides a solid focal point. Natural elements through the use of small side tables and Navajo inspired prints help this space to feel warm and inviting. A true atmosphere of warmth and timelessness.

White cabinets were built in surrounding this fireplace. Base cabinets are designed at two levels. On top of the fireplace mantle there are two glass cabinets that are connected by an arched valance. A shallow recess was designed for a flat screen TV. The glass cabinets feature glass shelves.

An eclectic, modern media room with bold accents of black metals, natural woods, and terra cotta tile floors. We wanted to design a fresh and modern hangout spot for these clients, whether they’re hosting friends or watching the game, this entertainment room had to fit every occasion. We designed a full home bar, which looks dashing right next to the wooden accent wall and foosball table. The sitting area is full of luxe seating, with a large gray sofa and warm brown leather arm chairs. Additional seating was snuck in via black metal chairs that fit seamlessly into the built-in desk and sideboard table (behind the sofa).... In total, there is plenty of seats for a large party, which is exactly what our client needed. Lastly, we updated the french doors with a chic, modern black trim, a small detail that offered an instant pick-me-up. The black trim also looks effortless against the black accents. This family of four approached me to create a flex space, both TV viewing area for family and craft area for creative sisters. The goal was a bright, joyful and organized space with a transitional/modern vibe. We removed an old sink and cabinet, created built-ins for art and sound system, painted the dark room to lighten it up. Affordable art was scouted for the project, as well as brand new furniture, including a very comfortable sectional.

A newly finished basement apartment in one of Portland’s gorgeous historic homes was a beautiful canvas for ATIID to create a warm, welcoming guest house. Area rugs provided rich texture, pattern and color inspiration for each room. Comfortable furnishings, cozy beds and thoughtful touches welcome guests for any length of stay. Our Signature Cocktail Table and Perfect Console and Cubes are showcased in the living room, and an extraordinary original work by Molly Cliff-Hilts pulls the warm color palette to the casual dining area. Custom window treatments offer texture and privacy. We provided every convenience for guests, from luxury layers of bedding and plenty of fluffy white towels to a kitchen stocked with the home chef’s every desire. Welcome home!

We revived this hang out space with new hardwood floors, a custom reading nook with added storage and built in bookcase. The reclaimed wood wall was a fun project - we selected each individual board by hand to match the picture our client had precisely.
