Master bath retreat. These clients wanted to add linen and towel storage and a separate makeup area. The old built in garden tub ( seldom used ) was removed and a new cabinetry layout was designed in its place. Echelon Cabinetry in the Addison door with linen finish were used for the new cabinet design with his and her vanities. Tons of drawers and ample countertop space abound. The new granite countertops in Fantasy Brown look amazing with the Luxury vinyl floating flooring. Luxury vinyl flooring can be a great choice for a bathroom; its waterproof, durable, and warmer under foot than traditional tile and the new patterns and textured finishes can complement any look. The shower was cleanly retiled with a beautiful accent border that tied in perfectly with the new granite.

This 6,000sf luxurious custom new construction 5-bedroom, 4-bath home combines elements of open-concept design with traditional, formal spaces, as well. Tall windows, large openings to the back yard, and clear views from room to room are abundant throughout. The 2-story entry boasts a gently curving stair, and a full view through openings to the glass-clad family room. The back stair is continuous from the basement to the finished 3rd floor / attic recreation room. The interior is finished with the finest materials and detailing, with crown molding, coffered, tray and barrel vault ceilings, chair rail, arched openings, rounded corners, built-in niches and coves, wide halls, and 12' first floor ceilings with 10' second floor ceilings. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in a wooded neighborhood, surrounded by old growth trees. The homeowners, who hail from Texas, believe that bigger is better, and this house was built to match their dreams. A paver driveway and covered patio are included, along with paver retaining wall carved into the hill, creating a secluded back yard play space for their young children. A thermostatic shower valve with diverter allows bathers to pick the right right shower head and the right water temperature for their personal comfort. A shampoo shelf is a cleverly disguised grab bar by Invisia. The hand held shower head rests on a wall hook that is adjacent to the fold down shower seat.

This upstairs bath remodel was designed by Nicole from our Windham showroom. This bath features Cabico Essence vanity with Maple wood, Cartago (raised panel) door style and Columbia (Dark Brown) stain finish. This remodel also features LG Viatera Quartz countertop with Aria color and ¼ bevel edge. The bathroom floor is 16” x 16” Alterna Gistine Bisque and the tub tile wall is 24” x 24” Mediterranea Marmol Café honed. Other features include Sterling (By Kohler) tub in a biscuit color, Kohler ligh fixture in Oil rubbed bronze, Kohler shower trim in Oiul rubbed bronze, Kohler shower trim in Oil rubbed bronze and Kohler toilet in biscuit. The vanity hardware was from Amerock; both handles and knobs are in Satin Nickel.

Large West Chester PA Master Bath remodel with fantastic shower. These clients wanted a large walk in shower, so that drove the design of this new bathroom. We relocated everything to redesign this space. The shower is huge and open with no threshold to step over. The shower now has body sprays, shower head, and handheld; all being able to work at the same time or individually. The toilet was moved and a nice little niche was designed to hold the bidet seat remote control. Echelon cabinetry in the Rossiter door style in Espresso finish were used for the new vanity with plenty of storage and countertop space. The tile design is simple and sleek with a small pop of iridescent accent tiles that tie in nicely with the stunning granite wall caps and countertops. The clients are loving their new bathroom.

トランジショナルスタイルの浴室リフォームのデザイン、レイアウト、費用

浴室リフォームの技法には大きく分けて「在来工法」と「ユニットバス (システムバス)」の2通りがあります。

在来工法：「在来工法」とは、壁、床、窓枠、浴槽などを実際の現場で左官、大工、タイル職人等が作り上げていく技法で、浴室の大きさや形に合わせて自由にレイアウトをデザインできたり、趣のあるタイルで壁を演出することができたりといった点が利点と言えます。昔ながらのこの技法には、費用が高い、工期が長い、年数が経つと水漏れの心配がある、などの注意点があります。
ユニットバス（システムバス）：比較的新しいこの技法は、予め工場で生産されたパーツ (壁、バスタブ、シャワーユニットなど) を現場で組み立てていく技法で、防水性、断熱性に優れ、工期を短縮できるだけでなく、費用も大幅に抑えることができます。在来工法と比べると、デザインやレイアウトの自由度が低い点が欠点としてあげられます。

浴室にプラスアルファでお風呂タイムをもっと楽しく

介護が必要な方には、浴室に浴槽手すりやシャワーチェア、すべり止めマットなどの安全グッズを使って、癒やしの時間を安全にゆっくりと楽しんでもらいましょう。浴室に床暖房を取り入れると、冬場のあのヒンヤリ感がなくなり、ヒートショックの防止に効果が期待できます。大粒のお湯が頭上から降り注ぐように全身を包み込むレインシャワー水栓は、効率的に身体を温めてくれます。また最近では、浴室テレビを装備して、あたたかいお湯に浸かりながらテレビ番組や映画を楽しむ方も増えています。ライフスタイルにあわせて、浴室をカスタマイズしてみてはいかがでしょうか？

ラクラク片付け、快適な浴室！

シャンプーやコンディショナーのボトルや、浴槽洗いのブラシは、ワイヤーラック、つっぱりコーナーラック、吸盤シェルフなど壁面収納グッズを活用して、浴室の使いやすい場所に設置しましょう。ボディスポンジなど、肌に触れるものはお掃除グッズから離れた場所に置き、しっかり水切りができるよう吸盤フックなどにかけるといいでしょう。また、浴室内には必要なアイテムだけをセレクトして置き、余分なモノは浴室外の脱衣所の棚に保管するなどの工夫も、お風呂場を清潔に保つコツです。風呂ふたも、フックやスタンド等を使って収納し、しっかり乾燥させれば、カビやぬめりの発生を防ぐことができます。

ホテルのようなバスルームをつくるコツ

ホテルライクなバスルームに誰しもが憧れたことがあるでしょう。すっきりとした収納、余計なものやプライベート感がない、トイレとバスが一緒の三点ユニットでも清潔感があるのがホテルのバスルームの特徴です。このようなシンプルな印象のバスルームにするコツは、収納をできるかぎり1カ所にまとめるということです。タオルや着替え、トイレットペーパーや洗剤など溢れがち (しかもバスルームに置きがち) な日用品のストックは、必要分だけをコンパクトに整理して、同素材や同系色の収納ボックスやラックにまとめることで、全体を統一感ある印象に見せます。ところで、このようなホテルライクなバスルームはアメリカのバスルームが元になっていますが、アメリカの Houzz サイトの特集記事 (Story) には、“Bathroom 1 1/2” や “Bathroom 3/4” などと表記されているものがあります。これは、バスルームを「バスタブ」、「シャワー」、「トイレ」、「洗面台」の4つ分けて、それぞれ 1/4 と考え、4つすべてある場合は ”Bathroom 1”、それに加えてトイレと洗面台がもう1カ所ずつある場合は “Bathroom 1 1/2”、シャワー、トイレ、洗面台だけでバスタブがない場合は “Bathroom 3/4” のように表現されます。
