The original unimposing cookie cutter stairway occupied the center of the entry foyer blocking the view from the entry to the backyard. This stairway was removed, a cantilevered landing was installed on the second level and a graceful curved staircase installed. Accented with an ornamental wrought iron railing, glazed risers and hardwood treads this majestic staircase provides an open view into the beautiful backyard of this 5-acre estate.

The stairs in this iconic golf property have become the main focal point for many of their indoor venues; classically contoured white balusters maintain a bright look in this great interior space, and complement beautifully the detailed railings and magnificent woodwork throughout the clubhouse. After preliminary shop drawings were submitted for mark up by the supervising Architect and final approval was obtained, we were able to bring to life their fabulous vision. This house was a big renovation project from an almost derelict building. We were asked to create this large oak Georgian inspired staircase and entrance hall. The brief was to create a staircase and hall with the architectural joinery details such as the doors,architraves, surrounds, panelling and staircase were to look like original elements of this country house.

No detail was overlooked as this beautiful No detail overlooked, one will note, as this beautiful Traditional Colonial was constructed – from perfectly placed custom moldings to quarter sawn white oak flooring. The moment one steps into the foyer the details of this home come to life. The homes light and airy feel stems from floor to ceiling with windows spanning the back of the home with an impressive bank of doors leading to beautifully manicured gardens.
