Our home was built in 1971 and has been in our family since 1975. By 1998 it was beginning to show its age and our family made the decision to remodel. The master bathroom became the first of many projects that The Buckingham Group would undertake for us. Since that initial remodel they have completed five additional projects, the last of which, some twenty-five years later, was an update of their original bathroom remodel. The scope or work undertaken by The Buckingham Group has ranged from minor maintenance to the total renovation of our kitchen, utility room and guest bathroom. Independent of the scale of the project, our twenty-five-year relationship with them has been consistently positive. The home we purchased in 1987 had served us well over the years. The kitchen, powder room, and utility room however were showing the effects of time, it was time to remodel. We interviewed several companies and selected The Buckingham Group based on their reputation for quality, service, and creativity. We were not disappointed. From their detailed questionnaire on scope of work to their comprehensive specifications every detail was meticulously covered. To stay within our investment objectives, they preserved most of our cabinets, and modified several so that we were able to update the function of the rooms to meet our current needs. Laminate countertops were replaced with quartz, moldings were added for architectural detail, new appliances, plumbing fixtures, tile flooring , backsplash and LED lighting were incorporated. The existing and new cabinets were totally refinished transforming our 36 years-old kitchen from tired to beautiful. To coordinate the work, the entire project was scheduled, using their project management program. Materials and craftsman, who not only were experts at their trade but exhibited outstanding interpersonal skills as well, arrived as scheduled. In 2021, we contracted with The Buckingham Group to remodel our bathrooms and primary bedroom. We were impressed by the quality of their work and attention to detail. With our house being over 25 years old, we recognized there were other areas that needed attention (i.e. replacing existing carpet with wood floors, refinishing existing wood floors, adding new cabinets, replacing existing doors, reconfiguring archways, replacing base boards, and repainting walls and ceilings). Once again, we wanted the best remodeling firm in the region and chose The Buckingham Group. Their crew and subcontractors did a fabulous job!

We recently completed a master bath remodel with Buckingham Group. We selected Buckingham because of their attention to detail and planning. Through the design and contract phase, Buckingham worked to ensure all decisions were documented in detail, reflecting our choices and answering all questions and concerns. That responsiveness and attention to detail continued through construction, including with the sub-contractors. We were very happy with the quality of work and experience with all the sub-contractors, as well as everyone we had contact with at Buckingham. We just finished a master bathroom remodel. We went with the Buckingham Group and are very pleased with the results. They made detailed design drawings showing just how the new room would be laid out. They provided an online schedule so we could keep abreast of what was coming up in the project. The Buckingham Group is without a doubt, the best home remodeling firm in the Tulsa region. The process began with the creation of an excellent design for remodeling our bathrooms. Detailed specs and schedule were prepared, and we were kept abreast of the project the entire way. When an issue did arise, as they do in any construction project, it was handled promptly and correctly. The end product turned out absolutely beautiful! We found the Buckingham Group to be a very comprehensive design/build group that worked diligently to provide us with exactly what we wanted with attention to detail and quality workmanship. The design phase was challenging but Ed and his group worked hard through several revisions to get what we wanted in the space we had to accommodate a new master suite: bath, closet, and bedroom. Having the book of suppliers with addresses, phone numbers and the preferred contact made the daunting task of picking out plumbing, electrical, floor covering and mechanical items much simpler. Once the design details were nailed down, the project was scheduled. The Buckingham Group uses Builder Trend, an internet-based tool showing all aspects of the project: scheduling, action items, costs and payments, as well as any change orders, allowing all to see quotes that are either accepted or declined. Everything stayed right on schedule until we had to pause while waiting on items that were delayed (due to no fault of the Buckingham Group). Ed and his staff stayed in communication and were quick to answer questions or even come by to keep everyone “on the same page”. His staff is professional and skilled. We felt very comfortable having them in our house. Buckingham Group staff, as well as sub-contractors, showed up every day that work was scheduled. We never wondered when work was going to be completed. All in all, we are happy with our Buckingham experience from design to completion. We would definitely consider using them for another project.

I have just completed a complete home remodel job with the Buckingham Group and I'm very happy with the job. The entire job was well managed and was completed following the projected scheduled that was provided to me weekly. The time line was followed and everyday there were workers at the house. The job was stared on July 2, 2020 and finished 10/15/2020. This time line was much shorter that any other bides I had gotten and admired by myself and others were following the job. We have used The Buckingham Group for many projects over the years, from 1995 to July 2020. Ed Kaplan and his team are consistently professional and excellence is their trademark. Ed is exceptional at turning our concept into a concrete design plan. We have received high quality work from his employees and his subcontractors. All have been respectful of our time, our ideas, and our property. We have used The Buckingham Group to finish out a walk-out basement to living quarters, including adding a bathroom. On another project, they replaced all the interior doors and added extensive oak trim. They have replaced all of our windows. For a kitchen overhaul, they matched new cabinets to our old cabinets that made the room more user friendly. For bathroom projects: one was gutted and a new floorplan installed, another installed solid surface vanity, shower and tub surround. They have put in hardwood and tile floors. They have torn out fireplaces and installed new direct vent fireplaces that have saved us $$ in energy efficiency. We had seen The Buckingham Group at the Home and Garden Show a few years ago. When we needed to do some remodeling we decided to try them since we had gone through a not so good experience with other contractors. Ed Kaplin came out and we discussed what we wanted, a laundry room make-over and a complete redo of our fireplace. Within days, he had his people in to assess the job. Soon after, Ed returned with an itemization of the job scope and costs. We were impressed with the detail in the contract. It was a quick decision to go with them. The job was beautifully done and the craftsmen were wonderful. They were courteous, respectful and very talented. Both the fireplace and the laundry room turned out better than we had anticipated. We used Ed and his team to replace a 50-year-old sandstone fireplace that covered one wall of our den. We were provided a specific, written estimate along with a very detailed and legally binding description of the flow of the project. Once it was time to start the project, it was included in a private web portal describing who, what and when things were going to happen along each step of the way. We hired Ed and his team at The Buckingham Group to complete a new room addition for a new family member addition. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome or process. Earlier this year we decided it was time for our little house to have a facelift. We contacted The Buckingham Group. Ed Kaplan came to our home, respectfully listened to our wishes, and brought us some drawings which very closely matched the ideas we had in our heads. With a few slight modifications, we were ready to begin. Ed and his team are very professional. They provided a very clear set of specs for the work so that nothing is left to the imagination. They are properly insured and all of their contractors are well vetted. We were so pleased with the outcome and very satisfied with all of the professionals who worked on this project including Tony who provided the estimates and product specifications, Raymond who served as the Project Manager and the whole team of masons, installers, painters, etc. Everything was top quality work. Some of the work is easy to see in the pictures and some is not as we added insulation and did some additional work on the inside of the house. We can't brag enough on this company - they are very professional, dependable and a pleasure to work with!

The Buckingham Group did a complete remodel of our master bathroom. Ed Kaplan was very knowledgeable and helpful as he worked with us on our plans. We wanted a walk-in shower which had one wall of glass blocks which curved around to the entrance to the shower. This was a challenge! But Ed found a curved frame to hold the blocks to accomplish this. And we love it1 All the members of the team were professional and always willing to help when there was a problem. The company follows-up for three years to ask if there are any issues that need to be addressed. The Buckingham Group is the most professional and thorough company we have ever worked with and would highly recommend them.

Remodeled master bedroom, bathroom and closet. The Buckingham Group delivers a quality and beautiful job. Their contractors are very professional and nice. Great group to work with, Tim and I would not hesitate to use them again. Every phase is spelled out and you know what to expect, there were a few hiccups as in any job, but they were handled in a most professional manner. We do not have any regrets, except that we initially were going to remodel 3 bathrooms, and because we picked higher quality flooring, cabinets and marble countertops, it was within budget, but will save it for a later date. We are very happy with the end results, in fact it is more elegant than we ever imagined!

Their workers showed up on time, put down floor protection where they would be walking, cleaned up after each day's work, left on time, did A+ work and finished the job on schedule. I even received a follow-up telephone call a month later to see if I had any problems that needed to be addressed under their warranty. I had no problems whatsoever. It's probably the best shower I've ever had and I no longer worry about the shower pan leaking into the downstairs ceiling. Excellent work. We became aware of The Buckingham Group through a visit to a home that they had on tour in the fall of 2004. Following that initial project, The Buckingham Group, totally restored our 87-year-old porch with all of its intricate details. They carefully removed and identified all of the original components and then rebuilt it using the materials specified in the original drawings. This work was followed up by the restoration of our seven chimneys and fireplaces, renovation and redesign of two bathrooms and our powder room Interwoven between the above projects they completely restored our 85-year-old finished basement, which had been horribly compromised by leaking walls. As a result of their work, the previously unusable basement was converted into an attractive and comfortable living space. They provided quality contractors and employees, retrofitted and updated the infrastructure and replicated the original moldings through out. What could have been a nightmare for us was, all in all, a pleasant experience. Wanting to update our 1994 suburban home, my wife and I hired The Buckingham Group in late 2012. Founder Ed Kaplan came to the house, himself, and walked us through his more than three decades of expertise in the field. Have done two outstanding remodeling projects with The Buckingham Group. The first one was a kitchen remodel. Our kitchen was outdated with lighting in a drop down “popcorn” ceiling, old oak cabinets that provided inadequate storage and dated countertops. Everything was redone including cabinets, countertops, backsplash, plumbing fixtures, crown molding and raising the ceiling and installing recessed can lighting. We were impressed with the process which included the initial design phase to identify why and what we wanted the finish project to achieve, approving the design concept and realizing our beautiful kitchen when the project was completed. The process was A+ from start to finish. Everything was spelled out in a written contract that covered the entire process. The Buckingham Group was exceptional in its quality design and workmanship. ***Best review in my view is that several years later and a new address, we had The Buckingham Group redo a small bathroom that needed a large shower and linen closet. When we began to consider remodeling our 1950's kitchen, Ed Kaplan came to our home and conducted a casual interview to find out what we would like to do. One undesirable feature was the small window over the kitchen sink that opened to what originally was a breezeway that had been converted into a dining room in a previous remodel. Ed suggested we open up the space and add see-through cabinets, and I pointed our that the wall was an exterior structural wall. He explained his team would install a new header in the attic and remove the wall. Though a little skeptical, we trusted his skills and sure enough IT WORKED! That was 20 years ago, and we still enjoy the kitchen design every day.

I sustained major water damage to the downstairs of my new home in January, 2014 (8 months after I purchased this property). No less than four contractors were interviewed, including The Buckingham Group to obtain estimates to restore my home to its original state. This organization came to the first interview en mass, i.e. plumber, painter, floor installer, electrician, carpenter, chief estimator and the project manager, ready to estimate the job and eager to present documentation, including pictures of other work they had done to further reinforce the high quality of their craftsmanship. Shortly thereafter,a contract was drawn, signed and the work began. Due to the extensive damage sustained by my home, I knew that it was going to be a long process. Not being a full-time Tulsa resident, I fully relied upon schedules and photographs published on line by Buckingham Group, in conjunction with telephone conversations with Buckingham's president Ed Kaplan, to guide me through the job's progress. The Buckingham Group did a major remodel for us of our master suite and bathroom. My wife and I couldn't be any happier with the beautiful job they did. We are in the middle of our third project using The Buckingham Group. Our first project was in 1996 and finished our basement into living areas and guest suite, including adding a bathroom. Our second project remodeled two other bathrooms and replaced interior doors and trim work, plus ceiling work to cover popcorn ceilings. Now we are remodeling the kitchen, laundry, and powder bath; resurfacing the fireplace and replacing the insert; and putting hardwoods throughout the main floor. We keep going back to The Buckingham Group because we have loved the changes with each project! Ed Kaplan has an excellent sense of space design and is able to integrate the new with the existing, making seamless transitions. The Buckingham Group uses craftsmen to lead their projects and they enjoy good relationships with their vendors. We have been impressed with all of the Buckingham Group employees; they are good communicators and problem solvers. The planning stage is extensive, which makes the actual working stage run more smoothly. Ed is always very responsive to any concerns as the work progresses. He has always had a payment system that makes sense, with invoices that coincide with major milestones accomplished and major purchases delivered.
