We’re delighted to be able to show this, our latest project in Welwyn Garden City. More than ever, we need our homes to do so much. We want the kitchens functional and beautiful, the living areas comfortable yet practical with plenty of storage - and when it’s open plan living, like this one, we want the spaces to connect in a stylish and individual way. Choosing a supplier that creates hand built, bespoke cabinets and fitted furniture is the very best way to ensure all boxes are ticked! In this project the kitchen and living areas have been hand built in a classic Shaker style which is sure to stand the test of time but with some lovely contemporary touches. The mirror splashback, in the kitchen, allows the natural light to bounce around the kitchen and the copper accents are bright and stylish and keep the whole look current. The pendants are from tom Dixon @tom_dixon11. The cabinets are hand painted in F&B’s downpipe which is a favourite, and for good reason. It contrasts beautifully with their chalky Wimbourne White and, in an open plan living situation like this, it sets the kitchen area apart from living area. At Planet we love combining two finishes. Here, the Corian worktop in Vanilla sits beautifully with the Solid oak Breakfast bar which in itself is great with a wooden floor. The colours and finishes continue into the Living Room which unifies the whole look. The cupboards and shelving are painted in Wimbourne White with accents of the Downpipe on the back panels of the shelving. A drinks cabinet has become a popular addition to our projects, and no wonder! It’s a stylish and fun addition to the room. With doors closed it blends perfectly with the run of storage cupboards and open – no detail has been overlooked. It has integrated lighting and the worktop is the same Vanilla Corian as the kitchen. To complete the drinks cupboard a scalloped oak wine rack below has been hand built by our skilled craftsmen.

Hamptons family living at its best. This client wanted a beautiful Hamptons style home to emerge from the renovation of a tired brick veneer home for her family. The white/grey/blue palette of Hamptons style was her go to style which was an imperative part of the design brief but the creation of new zones for adult and soon to be teenagers was just as important. Our client didn't know where to start and that's how we helped her. Starting with a design brief, we set about working with her to choose all of the colours, finishes, fixtures and fittings and to also design the joinery/cabinetry to satisfy storage and aesthetic needs. We supplemented this with a full set of construction drawings to compliment the Architectural plans. Nothing was left to chance as we created the home of this family's dreams. Using white walls and dark floors throughout enabled us to create a harmonious palette that flowed from room to room. A truly beautiful home, one of our favourites!

We hired the owners of My Sister's Garage of Windham, Maine to decorate the entire house with a mixture of vintage, repurposed, new, and custom design elements to achieve a classic, campy vibe with a luxury feel. We wanted to take advantage of the open space below the staircase to add some more seating to the living room and some additional storage. A pair of comfy water hyacinth wingbacks and a vintage dresser made a great conversation/reading area and gave us some additional storage for games. The salvage, jute, and glass elements on the dresser add some fun and tie in nicely with the rest of the room. This large great room has space for two full size sofas and two chairs. The stone fireplace is the focal point of the room, flanked by two upper windows and built ins. The coffered ceiling is a custom detail which plays nicely with the location and design of the fireplace. Light, bright, calm and serene living room scheme. Built-in joinery designed to fit with existing picture rail and to allow the fireplace to be the key feature along this elevation, further enhanced by brass finishes in the mirror and chandelier. Complementary pale green limewash paint and chinois green sofas provide a calming balance and serenity to fit with the client's brief.

This early 90s rambler in South Minneapolis got a fresh update with custom built-ins, new wall paint, all new furniture and decor to bring it up-to-date with the clients' previously remodeled kitchen. The warm tones flow between the spaces, and create an open, inviting space for entertaining!

L’objectif principal de ce projet a été de réorganiser entièrement les espaces en insufflant une atmosphère épurée empreinte de poésie, tout en respectant les volumes et l’histoire de la construction, ici celle de Charles Dalmas, le majestueux Grand Palais de Nice. Suite à la dépose de l’ensemble des murs et à la restructuration de la marche en avant, la lumière naturelle a pu s’inviter dans l’ensemble de l’appartement, créant une entrée naturellement lumineuse. Dans le double séjour, la hauteur sous plafond a été conservée, le charme de l’haussmannien s’est invité grâce aux détails architecturaux atypiques comme les corniches, la niche, la moulure qui vient englober les miroirs. La cuisine, située initialement au fond de l’appartement, est désormais au cœur de celui-ci et devient un véritable lieu de rencontre. Une niche traversante délimite le double séjour de l’entrée et permet de créer deux passages distincts. Cet espace, composé d’une subtile association de lignes orthogonales, trouve son équilibre dans un mélange de rose poudré, de laiton doré et de quartz blanc pur. La table ronde en verre aux pieds laiton doré devient un élément sculptural autour duquel la cuisine s’organise. L’ensemble des placards est de couleur blanc pur, pour fusionner avec les murs de l’appartement. Les salles de bain sont dans l’ensemble carrelées de zellige rectangulaire blanc, avec une robinetterie fabriqué main en France, des luminaires et des accessoires en finition laiton doré réchauffant ces espaces. La suite parentale qui remplace l’ancien séjour, est adoucie par un blanc chaud ainsi qu’un parquet en chêne massif posé droit. Le changement de zone est marqué par une baguette en laiton et un sol différent, ici une mosaïque bâton rompu en marbre distinguant l’arrivée dans la salle de bain. Cette dernière a été pensée comme un cocon, refuge de douceur.
