This smaller galley kitchen was the perfect opportunity to add some warmth to this cape cod home filled with lots of charm. In this kitchen, there is plenty of space and opportunities for this family who loves to cook together to spend some time amongst their double ovens and abundance of counter space. The cabinets are white uppers with latte colored base and a featured backsplash of hand painted tile that pulls in all of the colors of the kitchen. The beverage center is maple with a cashew stain to match the kitchen table. We added a bookcase next to the refrigerator at the back door so there is room to drop things as they walk in. The pantry area is a large wall cabinet with rollouts and a three drawer base giving plenty of room for storage even though this space may not be the biggest.

My team took a fresh approach to traditional style in this home. Inspired by fresh cut blossoms and a crisp palette, we transformed the space with airy elegance. Exquisite natural stones and antique silhouettes coupled with chalky white hues created an understated elegance as romantic as a love poem.

An extension provides the beautiful galley kitchen in this 4 bedroom house with feature glazed domed ceiling which floods the room with natural light. This homeowner lived on a very prominent golf course and wanted to feel like he was on the putting green of the 9th hole while standing at his family room window. The existing layout of the home had the garage enjoying that view with the outdated dining room, family room and kitchen further back on the lot. We completely demoed the garage and a section of the home, allowing us to design and build with that view in mind. The completed project has the family room at the back of the home with a gorgeous view of the golf course from two large curved bay windows. A new fireplace with custom cabinetry and shelf niches and coffered high ceilings makes this room a treasure. The new kitchen boasts of white painted cabinetry, an island with wood top and a 6 burner Wolf cooktop with a custom hood, white tile with multiple trim details and a pot filler faucet. A Butler’s Pantry was added for entertaining complete with beautiful white painted cabinetry with glass upper cabinets, marble countertops and a prep sink and faucet. We converted an unused dining room into a custom, high-end home office with beautiful site- built mahogany bookcases to showcase the homeowners book collections. To complete this renovation, we added a “friends” entry and a mudroom for improved access and functionality. The transformation is not only efficient but aesthetically pleasing to the eye and exceeded the homeowner’s expectations to enjoy their view of the 9th hole.

We added oak where the old wall was and staggered the remaining tile into the new flooring. (The tile continues into the powder room, replacing it would have meant replacing that floor also.)

The homeowners were able to preserve the mid-century character of their kitchen by re-finishing the existing cabinets. New stainless steel appliances and a fresh coat of white paint revive the space. A custom built bench and custom table offer a gathering spot in the efficient galley layout.

Les nouveaux espaces entrée et cuisine ont gagné des m2 en récupérant une partie du palier d'étage et les WC attenants. De jolis carreaux de ciment de chez Marazzi ainsi qu'une peinture terracotta assortie de chez Ressource donnent le ton. Une baie vitrée à été crée afin d'ouvrir l'espace au maximum !

This kitchen was designed for function! It opens up into the nook/dining area and the greatroom which makes it perfect for entertaining or watching the little ones. The cabinets are a thermofoil MDF cabinet done in two toned grey. We added a granite countertop and subway style backsplash to pull the look together.
