Modern Traditional Kitchen for a lovely couple in the Bay Area. The Fieldstone and Forte paprika cherry cabinetry invite you into the kitchen and give warmth to the room. The Bainbridge door style used in this design is a beautiful traditional raised panel door with clean lines and details. The light natural tones from the polished porcelain floors by Emser Tile and the natural tones from the Havenwood chevron porcelain backsplash by MSI serve as a great accompaniment to the cabinetry. The pop in this kitchen comes from the stunning blue Cambria Skye countertop on the kitchen island and is a great complimentary color to the red tone radiating from the cherry cabinetry. The tall celings painted in Malibu Beige by Kelly Moore in this kitchen allow for a light an airy feel, and this feeling is felt even more by a mirrored backsplash in the Hutch area, as well as the diffused glass cabinet doors in the hutch and island cabinetry. Accents of polished chrome hardware from Top Knobs Hardware allow for a sparkle and shine in the kitchen that compliments the stainless steel appliances. All of these materials were found and designed in our wonderful showroom and were brought to reality here in this beautiful kitchen.

These maple cabinets have a cranberry finish which gives them that red cherry look. The island is deep for plenty of food prep and counter space including room for a bar.

This Mid Century inspired kitchen was manufactured for a couple who definitely didn't want a traditional 'new' fitted kitchen as part of their extension to a 1930's house in a desirable Manchester suburb. The walk in pantry was fitted into a bricked up recess previously occupied by a range. U-shaped shelves and larder racks mean there is plenty of storage for food meaning none needs to be stored in the kitchen cabinets. Strip LED lighting illuminates the interior. Photo: Ian Hampson

The Sales Center is located at the Gallery of Homes at The Pinehills in Plymouth, MA. Crisply detailed with wood shingles and clapboard siding, this home speaks to the New England vernacular. The roof was clad with a sustainable rubber product (recycled automobile tires!) to mimic the look of a slate roof. Copper gutters and downspouts add refinement to the material palate. After the Sales Center was constructed, the "model home" was added to the adjacent property (also designed by SMOOK Architecture). Upon completion of the "model home," the Sales Center was converted into a two bedroom “in-law suite,” bringing the combined total area to approximately 5,000 SF. Plenty of storage in this Traditional kitchen remodel. Our clients want to design a kitchen that would provide long term use to them and there family. They wanted to be proactive with problems you find in typical kitchen such as appliance placement, counter space and lighting. This kitchen doesn't just look great it is also designed to be a better than average chef experience. Our clients loved the red stained cabinets with crown molding, easy to clean laminate countertops and even easier to clean stainless steel appliances. They also added plenty of lighting with 8 recessed lights.
